Don't do it!

Many people today are single. Divorce rates are at an all-time high. Feminism has put many men off women, and weak men have put many women off men. Finding a normal person to date is challenging.

When you do meet someone who seems semi normal, there is still a very important factor to consider: Are they a true Christian or not?

This factor is bigger than any other because the difference between a true Christian and a non-Christian is night and day.

2 Cor 6:14 “Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. What fellowship has light with darkness?”

There is literally no true fellowship in a relationship with a non-Christian. Fellowship is very important. It strengthens bonds and adds richness to a relationship. Casual chats over coffee about running routes, hobbies or holiday locations are nice at first. But after a week or two, a relationship without real spiritual connection will run as dry as a desert for a Christian.

Christians are prized partners. They are friendly, approachable, kind, and caring. The light in a room. Because of this, Christians need to have their guard up and avoid being pulled into unequally yoked relationships. God calls Christians to faithfulness in marriage, and a non-Christian will not always be able to show the same level of commitment.

Mark 10:9 “What God has joined together, let no one separate.”

God does not delay. He will send the right person at the right time if you are ready and walking rightly with Him. Wait on God and be wise. Don’t make decisions based on fleshly desire alone, wait for the spiritual connection.

Prov 3:5 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.”

Excellent post! I think a lot of people need to read this. As for me, God called me into celibate life. I never had a single relationship in this world, only spiritually- the twin flame thing, who were demons all along. The one good thing came out of this is that in the process of being in the spiritual relationship with a "twin flame" a real person, who I met before but who did not had any idea we were spiritually "connected" talking is this...

He mirrored my childhood wounds and I talked to my inner-child and I was above that inner-child and I got healed. I get it, it sounds so New Age, too much focused on self and my journey...like where was Jesus, who heals? But I wasn't yet saved and I did not see many things, what I see now. But yeah, this is my story. After salvation I have zero desire for marriage.

I never wanted kids of my own as well. When I was a girl the only reason I wanted to get married is because to get saved since I never felt good about my surname which was given since birth. I never knew that Jesus is our only Savior. In childhood I very much resonated myself with the Snow White cartoon and there is the Prince, who saves not Jesus...so I was deceived.

I can happily say that when Jesus came and I said: Cross to subject of men and cross to anything that does not serve me anymore!

He told me to officially change my surname to Cross, only in Estonian version of course...and that's my story, a true one...that when I sent digital document with digital signature and paid 100 euros in 2021, august 25th. This turned out my day of salvation. The demons that came out and the freedom I felt was huge! This year, as my second birthday on 16th September (the day name got officially confirmed), I will turn 5 years old! Woohoo! Praise God for this name, what has power over evil and makes me happy everyday!
