Hi,

Partly I need advice, but mainly prayer, so I have posted in this forum.

There is a guy in the coffee shop I frequent who the Lord has laid on my heart. I have been praying, and have wanted for a while to tell Him of Jesus. He has recently lost a close family member and I prayed I would witness in a compassionate and sensitive way.

Well, this morning I did go up to him and ask if he'd ever thought of the meaning of all this. He replied that he was a staunch Catholic.

I feel it is really important to be sensitive here, as he is still greiving, so prayers would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Love,

Mark.

Father I praise you for your awesome glory, and the will you have for our lives.

Lord bring comfort to this guy, and soften his heart as the word is prepared for him.

Father bless my brother Mark, give him words to speak, words of love, words of conviction and words of peace.

Let your will be done, have you way.
Amen.

Good Morning Mark,

I'm a firm believer that it's not what you say, it's how you say it.

Talk to him with a lot of love and tell him you're sorry for the loss. Explain to him that Jesus loves him no matter what he's going through and now is the time to truly see what God is all about. Depending on his response and mood, teach him about religion vs. relationship (Catholicism vs Jesus).

Don't worry- God will do the talking, You just need to open your mouth
