The English word "Christ" comes from the Greek word Khristos which was used to translate the Hebrew word Masiah which means Messiah which means one who is annointed.

It isnt what is the Christ, but who.

Jesus fulfilled all prophecies on the exact day , and died on the exact day prophecied, as our sacrificial lamb.
No other, so called messiah did that.
It was Jesus alone.
He died once, for ALL, and will never have to do that again.

Jesus, our Christ, our Lord, and Savior redeemer, our Coming
King of Kings.
