Who can curse those that God has blessed?

Curious why believers are afraid of curses?

While I am not afraid of curses I believe all of our physical bodies are still under a curse. The groan and travail (mines groaning today-LOL) with the rest of creation await redemption. This is manifest in disease and death and was the direct result of judgment on Adam's sin.
There is also darn thorns issue were we have to toil and earn our livings by the sweat of our brow.

What a joy it will be to have a new resurrection model instead of this clunker I am driving now.:shock::shade:

I'm assuming you are going somewhere with this but I'll post anyway.

The LORD God said to the serpent,
"Because you have done this,
Cursed are you more than all cattle,
And more than every beast of the field;
On your belly you will go,
And dust you will eat
All the days of your life;
And I will put enmity
Between you and the woman,
And between your seed and her seed;
He shall bruise you on the head,
And you shall bruise him on the heel." To the woman He said,
"I will greatly multiply
Your pain in childbirth,
In pain you will bring forth children;
Yet your desire will be for your husband,
And he will rule over you."
Then to Adam He said, "Because you have listened to the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree about which I commanded you, saying, 'You shall not eat from it';
Cursed is the ground because of you;
In toil you will eat of it
All the days of your life.
"Both thorns and thistles it shall grow for you;
And you will eat the plants of the field;
By the sweat of your face
You will eat bread,
Till you return to the ground,
Because from it you were taken;

And to dust you shall return."

While it looks like Satan and the ground are the only 2 things being cursed, we can see God is cursing everything in that passage. The whole thing is a list of curses by God Himself. His common grace still abounds in all things but there is an underlying curse that will last until the day when everything is judged.

All the above can indeed be upon any, including any professing Christian that is not truly sincere; and this God knows, not us, as in merely outwardly saying so.

Although, just because one professes to be a Christian does not mean he is. I'd say all of the above verses are referring to the non-believer. If one does not love the Lord, he is not a believer. If one preaches another gospel, he is not a believer. As for your use of Luke, that is a part of the Beatitudes. The first part (verses 20-23) give praise to believers while the next part (verses 24-26) speak ill of unbelievers. Again, all three of the verses you gave apply to unbelievers only. Then again, it appears you believe this to be the case as well. I just wanted to clarify on the part I quoted of your statement.
