Can "ANYONE" be Saved? (Strange Question)

Greetings brothers and sisters.

I believe that whoever calls upon the Lord will be saved as stated in John 10:10.
Speaking of any woman or man.

Now, how about the angels?
Can the demons who turned from God be saved if they repented
and asked for forgiveness? Could Satan repent and ask for forgiveness? and
if so would God forgive him?

My initial surface thoughts are that since the penalty of sin is death, and Jesus died
for our sins, perhaps there has been no sacrifice made for the heavenly creatures to
atone for their sins.

Also, another thought is that perhaps something about the demons and evil spirit makes
it so that they won't ask for forgiveness. It seems the reason we are able to ask for forgiveness
is because when we do there is the blood of Christ ready to wash us clean. But what has been
made available to atonement for the fallen angels?

I'm not questioning God's wisdom or asking for evil spirits to return to heaven, just curious
about thoughts on this.

First question is what does it mean to believe? Does not the answer to this question limit who is able to call?

Second question is what does it mean to hear? Does everyone hear? If a person cannot hear, is it possible for him to gain hearing?

Third question is Who is a preacher?

"How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?" Rom 10:14

Dear Brother. I think Hebrews 1 & 2 might assist on this subject and a little insight on Jesus and the Angels. I think that it is pretty clear in the below chapter that salvation is for the descendants of Abraham and heirs accordingly to the promises made. So, the promises were made to mankind and not to angels.

For assuredly He does not give help to angels, but He gives help to the descendant of Abraham. 17 Therefore, He had to be made like His brethren in all things, so that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. 18 For since He Himself was tempted in that which He has suffered, He is able to come to the aid of those who are tempted. Hebrews 2:16-18

And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's descendants, heirs according to promise. Galatians 3:29

I did come across this and thought you might find it interesting. It would go hand in hand with your question!

Why doesn't God give Angels a chance to repent?

Good question brother!

Amen brothers. Thanks for answering and putting forth questions. Thanks @Christ4Ever for the Scripture, that helps.

@amadeus2, In terms of what it means to believe, the Bible tells us that even the demons believe that Jesus is the Son of God but that does not say them.

Yes, I would assume it does limit it to those who are able to call.

To hear for me references hearing the WORD of God which has the power to save. Not necessarily hearing with our ears, though that is often how we primarily take in information, but having been a witness to the truth or testimony of Jesus. A truth that bears witness to our souls. So the soul is the one that is hearing.

The preacher is the person speaking the WORD.

So does not this thing of demons believing tell you there are at least two kind of belief involved? The ones who put on a masquerade and the ones who really strive to walk the walk and talk the talk. Which ones do you think are going please God? Which ones look more like demons and which one look more like Jesus?

Or do not the "ears to hear" the ones that hear rightly the things of God come to a person through the Holy Ghost in them? Before a person comes to God he receives only a glimmer of Light, just enough to attract him... then once he has made the approach he can start to really "hear". Then it is possible of him to grow in the things of God... and he must or he perishes.

The preacher is the person speaking the WORD.

Some are called to be preachers and are given a special gift for it to be a "life's" work, but every believer can be a preacher when God anoints him to speak to someone what "thus saith the Lord".

For everything there is a season.
God is able to raise vessels unto honor and unto dishonor.
If we are not for Him, we are against Him.

On most days it seems the demons are the only ones working for Him; the wickedness is everywhere and an abundance of it.
Where are God's people?
Are we in the highways and byways? I don't hear it. They must still be trying to save their congregations. Preaching to the choir, so to speak, what have they gained? The bible speaks of these things.
All praise glory and honor be unto God Amen

We are different creations. God knows what He is doing and we need to grasp that He IS always impartial Acts 10:34 and good Psalm 136:1. God knows that (as you said) angels would not repent. As Jesus says 'the devil has been sinning from the beginning''.

The reason God made a way for us is due to 1. We are created beneath the angels and 2. created in a weak flesh.

God's plan for the angels is God's plan for them. God's plan for us is God's plan for us. God is not showing preference to us. Though it does look that way if we as many do, misinterpret the message of salvation. IE We are saved because we have the ability to believe the ''unseen is seen'' VS hating what is evil and clinging to what is good Rom 12:9.

John 3:19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.

I would say this verse applies to us and angels in a sense. Is there a fallen angel doing altruistic deeds? We need to grasp that we are not actually better off then angels. We both need to choose to hate what is evil or love it. Those who choose to hate it go to heaven. Angels who choose to hate it, stay in heaven.

Salvation is God taking us en route to Abrahams bosom to heaven instead. NOT saving us from hell / the bad side of Hades. Jesus saves NOBODY from hell.

Can you expound on this? You lost me here.
:) Sure. I lose a few with the phrase ''Jesus saves nobody from hell''. I use it as often as possible as I firmly believe the truth to it completely debunks Calvinism.

Before the cross there were people on both sides of the divide in Hades. All mankind has sin and nobody qaulified to be a child of God in his house. So God had all those after His heart waiting in AB for the cross. As well as those few prophets that went to heaven / a type of heaven.

This is important to grasp because it is evidence of us humans being accountable for our hatred or love of evil....from day 1. Nothing has changed. We still need to strive to attain a heart after God's Rom 12:9. Salvation / the cross is God 's free gift. Making what was unattainable, attainable. IE We are able to skip AB / enter eternal life / be reconciled with God / be children of God.

There are mixed views on the captives that Jesus freed. I believe it was those in AB. But am not going to completely write off anyone believing it could be those on the other side of Hades as well. As God is exceedinly good and loves His enemy / always wants to be impartial. I don't accept this though as God does not make mistakes. God is able to judge heart and mind at a level nobody can Jer 17:10. So just as God would know the devil would never repent. God should / would know when a human is completely lost. IE It makes no sense that God place those who may one day repent in a state of darkness and torment prior to being welcomed into heaven.

So, when I say Jesus saves nobody from hell I am saying that nobody on the other side of the divide was taken to heaven. Those that love evil full measure will always reject Jesus and never repent. IE All those in hell now and lake of fire later will never be saved. As they are there by their choice.

IE Nobody who loves what is evil full measure will ever repent. Nobody whose love of evil is not full measure will ever be in hell. God is not dumb. He is a just judge.

For everything there is a season.
God is able to raise vessels unto honor and unto dishonor.
If we are not for Him, we are against Him.
Yes, indeed God can raise up vessels unto honor and vessels unto dishonor. Rom 9 is crystal clear on this. But just because God can do something does not mean He does. The rest of scripture is crystal clear on what in fact God does decide to do.

God is as good as He is omnipotent and omniscient.

The human mind can grasp the dictionary definition of ''omni-science / potence'' but not the revelation of God's goodness being on par with it. IE The cross.

Eph 3:18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the length and width, height and depth of God's love,

IE Making a vessel unto dishonor is partiality / Calvinism 101. Partiality is evil. God is not evil. We need to / we can grasp, just as Peter did that God is impartial Acts 10:34.

Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons.

If we are not for Him, we are against Him.
Would you be ''for Him'' if He was evil?

God wants us to grasp that He is good. David is crystal clear that we give thanks because He is good Psalm 136:1.
