Called to move

I need prayer for myself and family which includes a wife and 3 children. My wife and I feel that God has called us to move to Pensacola, FL and we have put if off for two years. We have been "getting by" for those 2 years and have finally yielded. Our home in Louisiana is in foreclosure so we had to leave anyway. We are staying with a friend in Pensacola now and looking for jobs and a place to live. We have a little money left but we need God to move quickly for us. This move in entirely by faith. We have no apparent reason for being here. We don't understand why God wants us here or what we are to do. Everything we own is here in storage and we start looking for jobs and a place to live tomorrow.

If God has called you to Pensacola, then He has a reason for you being there, a reason He will show you in due time. I also will be praying that you will be open to the leading of the Holy Spirit, and that you will be able to settle quickly with jobs and a home.

I will be praying for you brother. I know how scary the responsibility of caring for a family can be. Remember two things though, you will get through this with God and be better for it and God wont forsake you.

You may want to read the whole chapter of Philippians. It is very encouraging. I know there is a Christian college there in Pensacola. I would seek them out and see if they might have a network that can help you out as well.

Thank you guys for your prayers and comments. They are really encouraging. Today I am officially homeless and jobless. The place we are staying is only temporary and we do not even feel wanted here. Praying that God move quickly. Not sure how much more this family can take.

Joining in prayer here. Take heart Bro. and not be anxious, but give thanks to the Lord in advance for your home and job. He is our Jehovah Jireh, the Lord our Provider. He is our faithful God. He will never leave you nor forsake you. If the Lord has really called you there, He will see you through.
