BURIAL SONG
Quit that sad complaining.
Shovel that body under the earth.
Stop those teardrops falling.
It’s not death, it’s heavenly birth.
No matter how deep it’s planted
Some day soon it will rise
When Christ comes again
He will meet Jesus in the skies
Once the home of the spirit
Built out of the breath of God
For the time being it is with Him
But once again will be put in this bod
So Grave guard the treasure we give you
For the Maker, the Savior of men
Shall never forget his beloved
But claim His own image again
