Britains War on Christianity

Joh 15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
Joh 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
Joh 15:20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

It is the nature of the beast (no play on words) to hate the Lord in us.
Sadly this is already happening in the USA but so far at a lower level. I fully expect this to be ramped up on an almost daily basis. There was a Pastor who had a Chapel on the Louisiana State University who was told to accept and preach that the ********** lifestyle as wholesome. This was done by the Mayor of Baton Rouge and some City Counsel members. This brave soul said no and is in the process of starting a new work.

Nothing New

This has been going on in a rampage Since the Saviors crucifixion. He said it would happen, and as was said so it is today in the Christians day to day life. If its not the hands being put on you, then the Spiritual war that is upon us, well that alone is such the battle that has an effect even upon the strongest of us. But there will come a day, when the sorrows and pains will be rejoice and praises to the most High. I have a lot of love around me today in the forms of many blessing, but I long for HOME, my heart now pounds just tapping the keys to this post. One day brothers and sister all pain will be no more. Stay to the fight and keep the good faith, for ours is the victory in Jesus Christ and His is the glory forever and ever. Amen. Yort ( TROY ):shade::wink:

Interesting.

And yes, as a Brit I can concur that there is much erosion of liberties in the UK. Note, liberties. It's perfectly alright to sin. That's not a problem. But to say to someone, "That's a sin", well, it's just not cricket!

There are many who stand for Christ in this country, though. The Christian Institute has been very effective at watering down the hate laws. The crime of Religious Hatred has a free speech clause, yet to say that "witchcraft is an abhorrent practice" is still likely to find you in court facing a possible jail sentence.

Mark.
