Curses seem to a widely ignored subject. The answers to all our problems with curses are found in Christ's finished work on the cross at Calvary:

Galatians 3:13
13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed [is] every one that hangeth on a tree:​

But, Christ's power over the curses in our lives is not automatically applied at the point of our new birth (to the extent that we no longer to concern ourselves about these things at all anymore), but it needs to be appropriated specifically to each and every scenario where a curse is involved.
