Genesis 24:1
Abraham was now old and well advanced in years, and the LORD had blessed him in every way.

Read that carefully. “The Lord had blessed him in every way.”
Not just spiritually, but the Lord had blessed him in every sphere of his life. No doubt some of the blessings took some time to come, but they finally came.
Yes, Jesus wants to bless us in every sphere of our lives but this calls for obedience.
14 years after Abraham had left the Ur of the Chaldeans (he was 99 now), the Lord spoke to him and said, “I am the Lord Almighty, walk before me and be blameless.”
Abraham obeyed God Almighty and he was truly blessed. We too can be blessed similarly if we are blameless and obey the Lord.

It was a mighty a wonderful thing for God to appear to Abram Gen 17 This in old testament times......before Jesus came as Emmanuel....God with us. No longer 'appearing' but 'with us'

On the O.T. God appeared to men....in the N.T. it is Emmanuel God with us. Hallelujah God is now with us. Not appearing to one or two folks, but with us......that is with all of us......Amen!

"The LOrd blessed Abraham in every way" But somewhere in there it goes on to say "and be thou a blessing"

WE thank God for His blessings which we fully appreciate......and rejoice therein. You are correct to say that God blessed him in every way. But we have to let the blessings flow..............

WE do not want to be like the dead sea, without life, because there is no outlet. No outflow. Full of salt and unable to sustain any life.

Why?......because there is no flow.

Channels of blessing, .................
