Black Magic?

I have a question, is there really black magic or witchcraft and soforth??
I've heard about people casting spells on others,
They use demons or so for such thing right?

Could anyone explain to me what it's all about please?

I have limited knowledge on this subject but i will share what i do know.

I had a friend growing up who would often cast binding spells as she called them ,to protect her from others, they never worked ,to be honest she was very mixed up at this time. I know there are people who play around with black magic and then others who follow it almost like a cult.
The only place this so called power they have comes from is the devil, as followers of Christ we cannot be touched or harmed sister.

No No I'm not dwelling or interested in magic at all, I'm just spooked out of it, it's just too weird and demonic.

Evil is real and the bible says people can be possessed by demons. Jesus and the apostles have cast them out of the possessed. Matthew 8:28-34, Mark 1:21-28, Acts 16:16-18

But as far as witchcraft, spells, ect we are warned all throughout the bible to turn away from such activities. These acts have no power and God finds them and worshiping false gods detestable. Deuteronomy 18:10, Galatians 5:20 to name a few.
