I was not and have not ever been saved by Baptist, Presbyterian, Catholic, Lutheran, Pentecostal, or any other denomination. I am saved by Christ and Christ alone. I do not need to become a member of a denomination, building, or specific congregation. It is not a rule of salvation nor is it a showing of faith in Christ. It is a lie for the business of church, not what church is.

So quit worshiping the denominations and buildings and start worshiping Christ. Read the bible for what it states not what you want it to state. quit asking man for the answers that you should be going to Christ for. Where does faith truly stand in American churches today.

Over the last 7 years i have met with 300 pastors several times each. Out all of those only one pastor gave me sound advice that lead me toward Christ. All of the others just talked to me about their church building, denomination and congregation. Not one thing that would help with salvation or encourage me to seek Christ. Only things that would lead me toward their church. Church is not salvation, Christ is.

So what is the problem with the churches in America? Where does Christ truly stand as the head in most of the churches in America?

Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Salvation is a Free gift .

Rom_1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Eph 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God

This is our LORD Gospel and the good News.
1Co 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
1Co 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Joh_3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Joh_3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
1Pe_1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

It a True Birth just as profound as our first birth of water from our mothers. But of our Spirit.. We never forget that moment .

It for all mankind. If only they are willing? Trouble is ? many are tricked into thinking they will lose something. when in Fact we gain everything. Thank You LORD JESUS.

Rom_8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

Rev_3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

And He has Already declared us over comers at Salvation.
1Jn_4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

We cannot lose with our creator in our heart [Spirit] as LORD. Only gain .

1Co_2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

He has wonderful stuff planed for us ,far beyond anything we could imagine or think even . And it forever more .He knows what will make us so happy .
GOD a giver .the devils are the takers.

Amen. Although I do believe in attending church to "Not forsake the assembling of yourselves together" (Hebrews 10:25), I do also believe that there is too much emphasis these days being put on denominations, what they believe, and "who is the greatest." Let us all come together, in true faith under Jesus Christ, who is the true way of salvation. Not our works. Not our self-righteousness. Only Christ.

People come together to meet under a common name and call themselves a church when from God's point of view they are not a church.
The concept of one body of Christ is in the bible but so few actually understand it and fewer actually live it and practice it.
Christ is not really the head of those that call themselves churches, he is not the head of organizations, he is only the head of His body. If it is not His body then He is not the head. If anyone disagrees with this then please let us know which particular denomination(s) are truly His body? And if they are all His body then why do they all look so different and why do they not join together but continue to meet separately? Or perhaps you do not understand what it means to be of one mind with no divisions amongst you? (1 Cor 1:10). These instructions by the apostle Paul are just as important and just as much the bible as any other instruction in the bible such as believing in Christ to be saved, repenting from and confessing sins, and living in the Spirit. So denominations are simply organized and structured divisions. If they are not the Body of Christ and Christ is not the Head, then is it a surprise that we cannot find salvation from them?

I believe your choice of the word "biblical salvation" is to mean "salvation as per the time when the bible was written, or in the new testament era", rather than "biblical", because the word ekklesia was badly translated as "church" in our bibles. This concept of "church salvation" comes from an old era which attributed salvation to the building, place of worship etc, rather than the person of Christ or the actual assembly of believers. That is, in many ways the vices of Roman Catholicism are alive and well within society.

At some point in time pastors became a paid position in society offering a certain kind of service. A spiritual service. This is why it is called a "church service" rather than the biblical word - assembly, congregation, meeting. This concept of providing some kind of spiritual service is not in the bible either. Believers came together to mutually edify each other in Christ and do some work, not just to go to a place to receive some service from specially anointed ones.

"Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

This is the first and great commandment.

And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." Matt 22:37-39

If we are able to obey these two commandments always, what else do we need?

Then why do we need the new testament at all? Why not just the gospel of Matthew? We also need the new commandments given in John 13:34 and 1 John 2:8, and all the other commandments that tell us how to apply the first two commandments, and in this day and age we need the commandments against homosexuality and gay marriage, because some interpret the word "love" in the wrong way.

So you don't like the church.Christ loved the church, and gave himself for it.That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:

1Ki 18:25 And Elijah said unto the prophets of Baal, Choose you one bullock for yourselves, and dress it first; for ye are many; and call on the name of your gods, but put no fire under.
1Ki 18:26 And they took the bullock which was given them, and they dressed it, and called on the name of Baal from morning even until noon, saying, O Baal, hear us. But there was no voice, nor any that answered. And they leaped upon the altar which was made.
1Ki 18:27 And it came to pass at noon, that Elijah mocked them, and said, Cry aloud: for he is a god; either he is talking, or he is pursuing, or he is in a journey, or peradventure he sleepeth, and must be awaked.
1Ki 18:28 And they cried aloud, and cut themselves after their manner with knives and lancets, till the blood gushed out upon them.
1Ki 18:29 And it came to pass, when midday was past, and they prophesied until the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that there was neither voice, nor any to answer, nor any that regarded.
1Ki 18:30 And Elijah said unto all the people, Come near unto me. And all the people came near unto him. And he repaired the altar of the LORD that was broken down.

I do have a denomination and a church fellowship I go to but, I do not let that come between me and other believers.

Please notice that I prefaced my single non-scriptural comment with "IF". If we could always hear the voice of God via the Holy Ghost and always obey it, we would not need a written Bible. God included the Bible in His plan... all of the Bible. Without the Holy Ghost who can overcome?<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

Do not be so bitter against your brothers and sisters in Christ because they worship a little differently than you. Jesus is the Vine; His people are the branches. If you tread callously on the branches you bruise that heavenly Vine. Selah

God revealed too me.

1- take family to church
2- read the bible with family
3-get on your knees and pray with family.

GOD said if a man did these things ? He would take care of everything else in that man life.

We are the spiritual leaders of our homes and we have responsibility to protect ,guide and be the servant to our families.

We are here to serve . not :LORD over or mistreat or use our family . Jesus came as a servant and He created all things. He bowed down to His disciples and washed there feet. Should we do less with our families?

Love will correct or rebuke . But it also humble.

it never ceases to amaze me how that scripture gets twisted. i am not against anyone going to church. but we can meet with fellow believers anywhere and not be forsaking the gathering together. there is way to much emphasis on denominations, buildings and specific congregational worship.

church is not a building. it is the people that are truly saved. about the other, it is not for us to take from the people giving and line it in our own pockets. nor is it for us to store for sale. church has never been the place where we get spoken to by the lord. it has always been in our hearts.
