And the second is like, namely this, thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he: And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbor as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices. the bible confirms that there is only one god in the whole world...god of jews Christians and muslims
if there was many gods than one of them would have make a war to take the reign

for us muslims we believe that there is one god and jesus Christ is the soul of god...yet we cannot say that jesus is the son of god because god is not a human being ...human beings get married and bring children this is not god...god is god and humans are humans..i know Christians believe that jesus is the son of god ..we believe that jesus is the servant of god and his soul..hope you understand my information

  2. @the name of god
    Nice list of Biblical Verses.
Have you considered the verses that say that Jesus the Christ is the Son of God and that He said as much?

John 5:18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.

  3. there is no one equal to god....if god was the father then he is the one who gave the life for jesus and that means he is the lord of jesus and that means jesus is the servant of god

  4. From Scriptural verses to opinion.
That is fine. So, you believe as you do, and no matter what I say will convince you otherwise.
Likewise whatever you say, won't change that I believe that as John 5:18 states and other verses say. He is the Son of God and so as the Jews understood it equal to God. So, God Himself incarnate.

Do you think to change how Christians believe and acknowledge Jesus the Christ to be?
I don't take this as an insult your attempt in doing this. I also, hope you don't take as an insult that in not believing I state that only through the Holy Spirit and being drawn to God will change be possible for you to believe Salvation can only be found through Christ Jesus.

  5. That's incorrect. Bible makes clear the Father, Son (Jesus), Holy Spirit are equal.

  6. Bible makes it clear Jesus is God manifested in form of a man and the only way to the Father, the only remission for sin. There is no other way, despite personal beliefs or opinions. Truth is undebatable.

  7. so what do you say about the verses I've stated about the idea of one god in the bible??
son means there was a marriage did god get married??
what if the word "son" meant the servant???

  8. @Chad
well I do not doubt that salvation can be attained through jesus Christ this is a fact yet it is so hard for me to believe that the Christ is god..he used to eat to drink to walk in the streets is that a description of god??? does god eat or drink?
god cannot be a human humans are humans god is something else
there is one god for all your god and ours is one....I agree with you to say that the father is god...but I am not understanding the word "father"
usually the father gets married to bring children so what about our god..did he get married???
what if the word "father" means the merciful to the humans or the father the responsible of humans the father the god the only god???
what if the word "son" meant the servant???

  9. The father is the one that puts the seed into the woman and raises the child as his own. The Holy Spirit, a part of God, put a holy seed into Mary, she had never slept with any man. Then God was usually in spiritual communion with His Son, Jesus, son of Mary, son of the Holy Spirit, son of God! When they left Jerusalem and realized they had left Him behind, they went back and found Him at the temple, He told them, "didnt you know I would be at my Father's House?"

Can a man who doesnt want to see the truth, open his eyes to see it?

  10. Greetings,

May i ask where men came from?
Did we evolve from some murky cosmic soup that never existed but somehow did and then somehow (it can only be by faith in the totally impossible) here we are writing on a forum over the cyberspace, whatever that is, and it is 2018 AD?
    OR, were we created?

    Perhaps start there?

    Bless you ....><>

  11. Scripture in truth cannot be taken out of the whole, though many do. I myself fall victim to this at times. Difficult because rare is the person who can say they understand, in knowledge and speak with wisdom the entirety of what God has provided us with in His written word.

That is why my thoughts on the verses you quoted would be the same as you would probably have if you were to consider the verses which identify Jesus Christ as the Son of God alone and by themselves. However, if we were to do so, would we have complete understanding in truth of what God desired for us to know?

As to marriage. How little we truly even understand this concept, much less live it as intended! To give you an idea of this. Read Matthew 22:30 where Jesus was discussing the subject of who certain men and one woman would be married to. To me the conclusion is that there is no marriage in the fashion that we see it as men in this World and assuredly not in Heaven. The reason I say it this way, is because one has to take into account the significance of the Bride & Groom in the NT. What marriage is being discussed with in these words and the significance they hold to?

Can you see a little of what I'm trying to communicate in how one cannot dissect Scripture in the method you desire to do and be satisfied with the answer given/received? Many books can be done in this fashion, but the Bible is not one of them. Realize that if one desires to come to the truth in the reading of Scripture, it is the Spiritual Man that will find understanding in knowledge, while the Worldly Man will always be at a loss, and left unsatisfied.

With the Love of Christ Jesus.

  12. These are very good questions.

'Father', 'Son', and 'Holy Spirit' are the best words we have to describe the three persons that are the One God. They may be helpful, but we have to recognise the limits of language to describe God, who is beyond human understanding.

A major part of the Christian understanding of God is that 'God is love'. Before the world was created, there was God, and the three persons of the trinity were united in perfect, eternal, divine love.

The whole created order is an expression of this divine love. It is not as if God was lacking in anything, so made the universe as a diversion. Rather, as true love is always dynamic and creative, the world sprang from this joyful, harmonious love.

To surrender to God is to be invited to participate in this indefinable eternal love.

That one reason that belief in the trinity matters.

No one will deny that it is a difficult concept, but it is also incredibly rich and powerful.

  13. so you mean that god is three persons in one god so you have made god parts..is god can be parts? here is the question
I am still wondering what if the word "son of god" means the servant of god???

  14. So god is three persons?? God is three parts?? How come??? Can god be parts???

We have the same idea in islam god created everything out of love..he loved us before creation and after it

  15. We did nothing to God, God is God and unchangeable. It is pure arrogance to put God in a box and tell Him, You will be as we wish you to be and no more or we will no longer worship you. Christians did not change God, God merely revealed Himself in a way that you and many others refuse to recognize. It is understandable that you dont understand it, you have a finite mind trying to understand an infinite God. But instead of accepting that you simply dont understand it and accept that God is whatever He says He is, you tell others that Holy Scripture that christians have held long before Islam began is wrong.

  16. I am not saying this is wrong I am saying why don't we explain this doctrine in another way ...what if the word "son of god" means the servant of god?? what if the word "the father" doesn't mean father and son but instead it means "the lord" "the father of jesus" the lord of jesus...what if that was the explanation of your belief??
I simply cannot understand that god is consisted of three parts "the father the son and the holy spirit" because god cannot be parts...
we share the same god the god of jesus the god of moses and the god of Mohammad we are not that much different but explanations can differ

  17. No you are incorrect.

Stop bringing Islam into Talk Jesus.

You are welcome to stay and learn the truth

  18. A good man is lonely and seeks a wife. He finds a good woman who is also seeking a good man. They marry, THE TWO BECOME ONE. Then after many years of marriage, the man dies, and the ONE becomes 1/2? No, the woman is still ONE. Your fault is saying "God cannot be parts." Who are you to say what God can or cannot be? Are you His master? No, you are a human trying to understand God logically and mathematically. Thats human logic and human mathematics. God is as far beyond human logic and mathematics as humans are biologically beyond monkeys. There are some similarities, but they are NOT the same.

  19. well you are talking about humans who need to get married they are lonely they need to get married..is god in need to get married??? is he lonely??...I am saying god cannot be parts because this is the truth it is not a mathematical explanation but logically god is one ..parts are below god ...god is one entity..parts are the description of the creation and it is not the description of the creator

  20. in the Quran:
Jesus was created The similitude of Jesus before Allah is as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him: "Be". And he was. (3:59, Yusif Ali)

god made Adam without a mother and a father … is he incapable of making jesus without a father??
