W!ell...This is sad

Bible teacher and speaker Beth Moore, who was a vocal critic of former President Trump, announced that she is no longer a Southern Baptist.

Moore also announced that she has ended her longtime partnership with the denomination’s publishing house, Lifeway Christian Resources.

“I am still a Baptist, but I can no longer identify with Southern Baptists,” Moore said in the phone interview. “I love so many Southern Baptist people, so many Southern Baptist churches, but I don’t identify with some of the things in our heritage that haven’t remained in the past,” Moore told Religion News Service.

RNS also reported that Moore ended her longtime publishing partnership with Nashville-based LifeWay Christian.

“While Lifeway will still distribute her books, it will no longer publish them or administer her live events,” the news service said.

Moore suffered significant backlash after she became one of the most outspoken critics of President Trump. Some said the ferocity of her opposition was a form of Trump Derangement Syndrome.

She told RNS that the 2016 release of the “Access Hollywood” tapes was what set things in motion.

“This wasn’t just immorality,” she said. “This smacked of sexual assault.”

RNS reports that her opposition to Trump came at a literal price.

“Book sales plummeted as did ticket sales to her events. Her criticism of Trump was seen as an act of betrayal. From fiscal 2017 to fiscal 2019, Living Proof lost more than $1.8 million,” the news service reported.

“He (Trump) became the banner, the poster child for the great white hope of evangelicalism, the salvation of the church in America,” she said. “Nothing could have prepared me for that.”

Based on Ms. Moore’s “religious and political” evolution, I’d say she hasn’t been a Southern Baptist for quite some time.

Southern Baptists have not changed their doctrinal beliefs; Ms. Moore changed hers.

She used to teach so good too.

The Lord told me that she has "issues in her faith for certain". He did not outright condemn her, but He is concerned about her.

Oh, but she has "issues" in her faith for certain. So did "Ananias and Sapphira", "Nadab and Abihu', Hophni & Phinehas.
She has more than a "issues' problem i think , in Light of "The Holy Scripture". "and there is No Condemnation to those in Christ Jesus" But they can be in great error in their teachings. Teaching for doctrine the commandments of men for the doctrine of GOD. And causing many to fall and destroying many homes and families. Suffering from unnecessary ills. But it is ok, and not that bad.

(2 Tim. 4)
"I charge thee in the sight of God, and of Christ Jesus, who shall judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: preach the word; be urgent in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. For the time will come when they will not endure the sound doctrine; but, having itching ears, will heap to themselves teachers after their own lusts; and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn aside unto fables."

And she Loves to tell "fanciful stories".

If you could just listen to some of the women who have left Beth Moore teaching groups and conventions, How they have said, how foolish could they have been. When the light came on, they would jump up and run out. And they still cannot believe how foolish they was about her teaching unbiblical to the core. And when they see, it is like walking out of a dark room into the light. And they make it clear, it is her teachings and not her style that is "Unbiblical". they have left churches, who have presented her "Study series", who refused to stop showing her materials.

LOL, well your comparison may be spot on, just relaying what God tells me about Mrs. Moore. But God rarely tells me someone is beyond His help, and doesnt want me to condemn others unless he so directs me, and then I am not always sure whether its my natural instincts (but not perfect) that are quite good (that detects falsehoods) or God's Holy Spirit. He always makes it eventually known though if I am not sure.

Its kind of scary to see a Christian go that way

There was this one lady who was on another christian website that is now gone, who I liked (for her joyfulness and a child of encouragement to others) and when she and another were treating another member of the site as amazing and prophetic, the Lord told me to rebuke her and the other guy, and I told them they are to worship God alone and to bow down to no man (This was God's msg to her and him). Although they got irritated at me, mainly her, I had to do it. I was rebellious to begin with and wasnt sure I should say anything to her, but LOL, God made it REAL plain that if I wanted to be His servant, I need to speak when He gives me something to say to another. So God eventually makes it known if you arent sure.

Neither did I "condemn" her.

Interesting! I hear a lot of people judging her a nd some claiming they hear from God and all they actually have to go on is the opinion of others and a few possibly manipulative sound bites. So first let me alert you to 2 logic fallacies that the "world" suffers from. 1st is the apeal to authority....as followers of Jesus (not a man or some denomination) our only authority is the conviction of the Holy Spirit in light of the word of God. This differs from person to person depending on where we are on the journey of being conformed to the image of His Son and hoiw or what the Spirit says to the one prayrerfully studying the word. 2nd is argumentaum ad populum (the consensus view is correct) which is most often a huge mistake because the majority is very often WRONG!!! It may be what we have to live with here in America but it is not always right. This also applies to denominations. Now a sad side effect of these is when something happening is actually not good and the leadership is complicit (says nothing) and does not (as Paul says) call out the individual first in private and then with 2 or more witnesses and then before the body of Christ,

One thing I noticed that occurred between the 3 or 4 sides in the Battle for the Golden image man (which was not his idea) is that a line has been drawn in the samd....as followers of the real Jesus who is the real Christ and who is the actual Lord incarnate is that it has been revealed that many so-called religious and evangelical leaders are hustler con men with tendencies toward whate supremacy and greed. So I tell you God is NOT a respecter of persons...no one or any group is above any other for ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God...now for insight into the heart of OUR LORD read Matthew 25:31-46 and see who are goats and who are rea;lly sheep. Do not be like those in the Church who are doing all the right churxchianity stuff believing they are covered by some magic pray words or a bath who Jesus says "I NEVER knew you" (Matthew 25:12)....Jesus NEVER started denominations but maybe this woman saw some things in her DENOMINATION (people being complicit) or in the leadership (greed or support of taking up guns to threaten or intimidate people who do not shre their view) or maybe some were collecting millions of dollars when already rich and people in their own pews are hungry or loosing their homes and their church offeers no help.

So be slow to judge and when we hear more specifically FROM HER let us then ask is what she is saying true? IS what these people (or leaders) are doing or allowing actually something JESUS would do or approve of???
