Beast Within

Anger, pain, fear and rage
All bottled inside this cage
Anger for what they have done to me
Pain for never being able to be free
Fear that I will never be the self that is true
Rage from all that I have been through
Wanting so badly to say forget them all
Screaming inside to answer freedoms call
Struggling to keep the beast within
Feeling I am fighting a battle I can't win
Everyone seems to want to enrage me
Go head let them try they won't like the beast
they set free.
