We are in spiritual battle here today in these times the devil comes to steal kill and destroy all God has intended us to be. Its time we took a stand as a body in unity and focus on how we can fight back. More and more people are being led to Christ each day and we need to be salt to them. What does it mean to be salt to others,

Well salt is seasoning in one aspect we can season those around us by being an encouragement being there to listen through there struggles. We can be there for prayer.

Salt is also healing remedy dated back way before Christ. Salt heals from the inside out .

When your hurting emotionally and struggling and a brother or sister is there for you and help you by being encouraging and they are for you to just lift them up in prayer your being healed on the inside. Well that is how we can be salt to others .The bible tells us that we are salt of the earth. I encourage each of you to take time to fellowship with others and witness to them.

Act Christ like and let your words be few but Gods word be many. When you apply the saltiness of your character to they’re lives you will season them with the light of the Lord!

Scripture reference:

2 Kings 2:21-22

21 Then he went out to the spring and threw the salt into it, saying, "This is what the LORD says: `I have healed this water. Never again will it cause death or make the land unproductive.'" 22 And the water has remained wholesome to this day, according to the word Elisha had spoken.

(from The Holy Bible: New International Version.

Matt 5:13-16

13 "You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men.

14 "You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 I n the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.

(from The Holy Bible: New International Version.

Col 4:5-6

Amen, sister foreverwithjesus, I just returned this evening from a weekend Youth Retreat/Rally, Snowflake 2005. Wooo Hooo!!! What a blast and an interesting time for myself. The Session Speaker for the weekend touched on this, this weekend, as we were taking a look at Colossians 4:2-7. I would just like to be an encouragement to you sister for your post as you have summed up very well much of what I had taken in this weekend. It was very great to come home after a long bus ride and readjusting to normalsy as I know it right now, and have this to focus on as a reminder of what all we discussed and learned. Thank You!! And Yes, I will not forget to thank the Almighty who inspired you to share this with us. This points out to me that there is something in this that He has for me to learn and apply to my life. Amen!!
Yours in Him!:rose:
God Bless, Love, Peace, and Prayers,

Excellent post. Thanks for sharing.

Salt also hurts when it gets into the wound. It burns.... I've done it before. A good hurting and burning though. Reminds you that you're still alive, the tissue is still alive. Sometimes, as Christians, we tend to rub unbelievers the wrong way, and sometimes they ask what's so different about you? It's a good feeling when they ask that. It reminds you that you are still alive in Christ, still doing the work in Him. Shining His light to others without coming straight out and saying that's what you're doing. It's a good feeling! Brilliant post btw! -History

Good point History Maker, Isn't amazing how the Holy Spirit speaks thru many brothers and sisters on the same thread.
Ephisians 4:15&16
15*but speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: 16*from whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
