Be joyful always;
Pray continually;
Give thanks in all circumstances,
for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NIV
______________
Rejoice in the Lord always;
again I will say, rejoice!
Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer
and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests
be made known to God.
Philippians 4:4-6 NASB
______________
You too, I urge you, rejoice in the
same way and share your joy with me.
Philippians 2:18 NASB
______________
We need a Savior because we are sinners,
and the wages of sin is death...
Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift:
Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God is the object of
our faith; the only faith that saves is faith in Him.
Cease from sin.
So then, since Christ suffered physical pain, you must arm yourselves with the same attitude he had, and be ready to suffer, too. For if you are willing to suffer for Christ, you have decided to stop sinning. And you won't spend the rest of your life chasing after evil desires, but you will be anxious to do the will of God.
You have had enough in the past of the evil things that godless people enjoy--their immorality and lust, their feasting and drunkenness and wild parties, and their terrible worship of idols. Of course, your former friends are very surprised when you no longer join them in the wicked things they do, and they say evil things about you.
1 Peter 4:1-4 NLT
