Definite is an amazing word. It means something is settled and decided, firm and unchanging. Thought has been given to something, and a new choice is fueled by confidence. This is great when you’re making a great decision but extremely harmful when the choice is less than ideal.
If you are not all in when it comes to following God, then you might look like an enemy from time to time. If you’re not telling others about how to follow God, then you may be unintentionally pointing people in a different direction. This may be why the Bible indicates people should be all in or all out, because no one has to guess where they stand. It’s when you spend time in between that people get confused about where you stand and why. They shouldn’t have to guess.
You never have to wonder what God thinks, because He’s given you His Word. Don’t make people wonder if you’re all in.
Prayer: Father, I am a man who doesn’t mind if people know what I do for a living, what hobbies I enjoy, and some of the things I like most. May it never be a burden for me to share with others how important You are to me.
