Ask And You Shall Receive

I really didn't want to ask for anything, but I really need prayers for my whole family....I am broke, broke, my mother needs to stop drinking and my children need the LORD's care. My sisters and my brother need to be close and oh Lord, please watch over my family. Help my grandchildren grow up to be strong and safe. LORD, I just need Your help right now and always. Sometimes I have walked without knowing that You were still here with me...but you are and I love You.

Please pray for my family and for all that I ask of the LORD. I just wasn't going to ask for prayer for myself; however I am in need.

I pray for everyone who has called out to the LORD, that their prayers shall be received by our LORD. Thank You Jesus, please be my Shepherd.

I will be praying and lifting up your mom, children, your sisters and brothers and for your grandchildren and also for you.

Lord, I pray that you watch over Sharon and her whole family..You know their hearts Lord and what they are going through..be with them Lord protect them and help them in each area are needing help the most. We know Lord that with you nothing is impossible and with you all things are possible...I lift all these loved ones to you Lord and ask your peace, comfort, strength, love and protection upon each and everyone of them..deliver them from their situations and keep your hand upon each and every one of them Lord. Be with Sharon and give her continued peace to know that You Our Jesus are in control over everything and help her to rest in you Jesus. She loves you and needs you be with her and each of these family members she has brought forth in prayer. In your Mighty Name I pray Amen.

What a beautiful prayer Abby's Aunt. Lifted my heart and gave me another glimpse of Our Lord. Thank you so much. My sister is so bitter right now and she is an organ player for her church. I hope that we can be reconciled. She does not like me right now and I it hurts badly. She does not want to see me on Thanksgiving with our family and I won't go to my mother's house in front of all the children and relatives and have her "Flip on my head"...It is really tearing my eyes and I don't know what to do. My heart is being stubborn as I have told her a zillion times that I love her, but her recent words have struck me terribly. I don't know what is wrong with her right now? She has been acting very strange to my mother and my other sister.
Thank you Abbys Aunt. I pray that my relationship with God gets much better and that my family heals its wounds. I needed to unburden...God bless.

Hi Sharon,

We all need to unburden sometimes. I'm glad you came here to Talk Jesus and talked about what was and is on your heart. Even though I don't know the circumstances or situations that brought about this rift between your sister and you...I do know what's it like to have a sister who doesn't like you..but God has brought us back together and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt He can and will do the same for you and your sister. God hasn't given up on her and He never will...keep on praying for her sharon and know that our Lord is there amidst this time that you are going through.

Also remember Sharon that our enemy satan wants nothing more than to steal your joy and will do all he can to achieve that goal, but you my dear sister are powerful in our Lord and through His strength and by the power of His mighty name can rebuke satan and he has to flee...Don't let him steal that joy and light in you that can only come from our Lord Jesus!

Jeremiah29:11-14 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from your captivity.

God has promised you, me all us right here that If we seek Him He will deliver us and that goes for the situation you are in with your sister Sharon...keep seeking Him with your whole heart and you will always find Him and our Lord Jesus will deliver you from this
time and I am believing He will work on your sister too and change her heart and will keep praying for that.

Hi again Abbys Aunt. I read your words like they come from the Holy Spirit. They are quite comforting and I will read them again. Yes time is a healer and in time my sister and I will hopefully be close again. I have to figure a way to reconcile with her beyond the "I love you" response. I do love her and I have told her so, so many times. She said some bitter words to my mom and I chastised her for them, perhaps I shouldn't have but she was really attacking my mother. I am going to miss seeing my family this Thanksgiving which is next week-end here in Canada. I don't want a dispute to ruin the family get together though and I am afraid my sister would blow up at me during the family gathering.
