A cruise ship hired a magician to entertain the crowds.
A parrot began harrassing the magician during every ship performance, declaring loudly, "He hid it up his sleeve!" Or, "He slid the rabbit in his hat!"
One day the luxury ship hit an iceberg and sank.
The magician found himself drifting in the sea, clinging to a piece of driftwood. Sharing his driftwood was, you guessed it, the parrot.
The parrot stared quizzically at the magician for many moments. Then he said cautiously, "Okay. Where did you put the ship?"
