Imagine fighting with a die-hard….. You expect, wish and definitely know at one time they will give in and drop dead despite all the fierce fight and resistance they put up. They really wear you out. Certainly you will wait for that time to come. You keep reminding yourself that they are going to give up then you win. But ……… imagine after much fighting you realize that the die-hard actually never dies at all and that you yourself might have to quit…….. the devil is losing out. That is what I am …….LOL.
Romans 12 vs 6 says, "We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to hisfaith.". Let us use the gifts given us and do everything to the PRAISE and GLORY of the LORD. We have everything in abundance in the Lord Jesus according to John 10 vs 10 "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.".
I am new here. i believe the Word of God when it says in 1 Peter 5 vs 7 "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you". I TRUST God and know HIS PROMISE is true. God is Faithful. I am not ANXIOUS about anything. Absolutely Not. Nomatter What!!! i love my GOD. I do a lot of bible reading and studying.... i try to practice too! Who is perfect....? Being 24 years old i know i am guaranteed of a long day filled with joy as CHARLES SPURGEON once said,"Oh, it is sweet to come to CHRIST in the early morning [youth] of life, to have a long day of happiness before you!" I do art/drawing and writing (naturally). I do computers for a living. God has not forsaken me just as he promised in Hebrews 13 vs 5, "Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, 'Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.' " i am not even anxious about the the wife i am going to marry, God will provide the candidate!:thumbs_up
Tell you what? .....My favourite scripture is the whole bible! i will quote for you a certain scripture Hebrews 10 vs 38-39, "But my righteous one will live by faith. And if he shrinks back, I will not be pleased with him.'But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved.' ". i am very wary of such scriptures like this one. i cannot afford to turn back from the truth that was taught me. I am a fraid. The bible says Hebrews 10 vs 26 - 27, "If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God." What a MIGHTY GOD we serve!
Do get in touch concerning anything, i will do my best to pray, read, study inorder to share all the best Christ has given us. Indeed we are not part of those who shrink back and are destroyed. we will not crucify our Lord Jesus for another time by turning away from the truth that has been taught us. Let us be in the place where God wants us to be inorder for him to Bless us.
God is Good Nahum 1 vs 7,"the Lord is Good, he knows those that take refuge in Him" Psalms 34 vs 8,"oh, let the people taste and see that the LORD is GOOD" The Lord is Good all the time. He is the fountain of living waters ; Jeremiah 17 vs 13,"they have forsaken the LORD, the spring of living water." Psalms 36 vs 9," For with you is the fountain of life;in your light we see light. " WE DRINK THERE!
I say to you today...Hosea 10 vs 12 ,".....Break up your fallow ground for it is time to seek the LORD...." The Lord is good good good all the time time time. I love my GOD
