The LORD redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned. Psalm 34:22 NKJV
Do you want to live an unshakable life? Pay attention to god’s promises and be encouraged.
You are redeemed, bought back from a life that could never really be described as life. You traded a death sentence for eternal life. You traded a guilty verdict for no condemnation. What’s the downside of that trade? How are you disadvantaged by gaining God’s help?
Every day you have a choice to make. You can try to figure everything out with your own limited strength, knowledge, and ability—or you can access God’s unlimited everything. He doesn’t need additional resources or a second opinion. What He knows will answer any of your questions.
When you understand that God views you as not guilty, when you grasp the idea that you no longer have to obey the urge to make bad choices, and when God’s new life for you feels like home, then uncertainty becomes an unwelcome neighbor.
The family connection God made possible is the very thing that makes believers bold and brave.
Prayer: God, I should never look at what I can’t do as a reason for insecurity. I should look at what You can do and ask for help. You’ve given me a home and declared me innocent. That’s nothing I’ve done, but everything You’ve given. I’m grateful.
