AN ANGEL
An angel has been sent to me from heaven above;
To deliver to me thy ultimate care and love…
Ever since, I have been but swept away;
By a message of compassion being revealed to me everyday…
Nay! Thy angel delivers not thy affection alone,
For so it seems that I also hear thy voice in the angel’s tone,
Thy unfailing peace I’ve craved and thy comfort I’ve yearned for;
Are now delivered to me by thy angel whenever my soul is sore
Though loneliness at times may still refuse to desert me,
In thy angel’s smile thy beautiful comforting face I see…
And in the angel’s presence with me here,
I receive thy wisdom that I frequently need to hear...
I hear the declaration of thy acceptance,
And a promise of thy approaching deliverance…
I hear and then close my eyes and decisively yield;
To a sense of relief whilst my soul is being healed,
For thou indeed have sent the cure,
With thy angel to ease the pain I endure…
I wonder why I still seek what I cannot acquire,
When I do have for my spirit all that I desire…

For Those Who Cannot Speak

I speak for those who have chosen the silence,
For them who have lost all faith, trust, and Reliance
On their 'friends', families, and Relation ...
Now, they decline confrontation and favor loneliness

I speak for those who seem to have lost the words,
Instead of speaking they walk a path of vengeance with swords,
For they have found no comfort in anyone around
Now, they have forsaken the principles to which they were bound

I speak for those who have chosen violence over affection,
After having been exposed to lies, deceit, and cowardly affliction
Upon no one, they could now rely in the time of need,
Now, they choose the viscous appearance and the selfish deed,

I speak for those who have been bleeding from the inside,
For them who have been many times stabbed from behind
At the time of danger, they find no one to stand by their side
Now, they've abandoned their faith in the 'true friend' they could never find;

I speak for those in pain but are unable to scream;
For them whose characters are the opposite of what they seem:
Viscous, ruthless, selfish, and uncaring, they may appear to be,
It is just that Now, they're keeping the vow to lock their hearts for eternity;

I speak for those who keep holding out their tears;
For them who have lost the sense of their fears;
Torn by loneliness and tormented by long lasting scars,
It is just that Now, betrayal has darkened their future's shining stars;

I speak for those, whose souls have befallen restless,
For them, who have become wondrous and relentless;
By many, and for long, they have been unjustly condemned,
It is just that now, they have no hope of finding anyone to cure or amend;

I speak for those whose sole and ultimate desire
Is to find the love that is selfless and sacrificial in its attire
But failure in finding such have told them not to look further,
Now, they are tired body and soul altogether;

I speak for those, whose voices have been lost in vain,
For them who have talked and talked without any gain,
And so, with smiles, if they can, they greet in silence,
Seeking intimacy no more, nor any kind of alliance!
