Ambassadors for Christ
2Co 5:20 Therefore, WE ARE AMBASSADORS FOR CHRIST, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. (ESV)
A ambassador is “a diplomatic agent of the highest rank accredited to a foreign government or sovereign as the resident representative of his or her own government.” A Christian is a “citizen” of the Kingdom of Heaven, and as a representative of that Kingdom we have become a ambassador to this kingdom in which our physical body is connected to. The kingdom of this world is in “darkness”, and we are now citizens of the Kingdom of “light.”
Col 1:12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.
Col 1:13 He HAS DELIVERED US FROM THE DOMAIN OF DARKNESS AND TRANSFERRED US TO THE KINGDOM OF HIS BELOVED SON,
All believers were once “darkness”, and by becoming “born again” we are transferred into the Kingdom of light, and it is here within God's Kingdom of light we have become “light” in the Lord!!
Eph 5:8 for AT ONE TIME YOU WERE DARKNESS, BUT NOW YOU ARE LIGHT IN THE LORD. Walk as children of light
The kingdom that we were once aligned with, we are now enemies to. As a ambassador of the kingdom of light we make decrees from our own government that is in direct opposition to the kingdom of darkness.
In the physical world ambassadors communicate with their government either through technologies, or they fly back to their country, and receive instructions to convey to the country that they are ambassadors to.
Christians never need to fly anywhere to get instructions as we are always walking in the Kingdom of which we are citizens to!!
Php 3:20 But OUR CITIZENSHIP IS IN HEAVEN, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,
Jesus brought this Kingdom to us as he said the Kingdom of God is “at hand”,”amongst us” , “in our mist” and “in us!!”
God is light, and he surrounds himself with light!!”(1 John 1:5)
Psa 104:2 WHO COVEREST THYSELF WITH LIGHT AS WITH A GARMENT: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:
The Kingdom of God is a kingdom of light in which he lives as he is surrounded by his Kingdom! To walk in his Kingdom in which he reigns over is walk in light where he rules, and dwells.
1Jn 1:7 BUT IF WE WALK IN THE LIGHT, AS HE IS IN THE LIGHT, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
“He” who is in the light? God!!!!
Religion will never tell you this, as they think it is something that will happen in the sweep by, and by! The greatest enemy to Christianity is Religion!
The kingdom of darkness, and it's power has no power over the Kingdom of light of which we are “ambassador” to. As a ambassador of Christ we speak from within the kingdom of light into the kingdom of darkness to destroy, and set free it's captives free, and to bring God's Kingdom to this earth by decrees! that have unlimited power.
