Am I Worthy?

Oh father who am I to come to you
Wickedness and sin is all I see and do
I’m not even worthy to speak your name
You who healed the blind, sick and the lame
You who sent the devils running into the swine
You who only held peace and love in your mind
You who came to this fifthly earth for me
You who walked upon the very sea
You who was betrayed with a treacherous kiss
You who fills souls with hope and heavenly bliss
You who a mighty king was born in a stable
You who makes all things possible and men able
Oh Lord who am I to come to you
What goodness could I ever do
Oh Lord who am I to come to you
But nevertheless I still do
For you’re my only hope in this torn world
My only light in this black universe
The only one with whom I can tearfully converse
You father are the king of my life
You lord is the reason I was born
To do thy will and spread the word
All the while walking in thy footsteps
Following thy glorious path to heaven
For now that my life has changed
To be like you and love is all I can do
