My mother has Alzheimer's disease and Thursday she will be having a biospy done because on an X-Ray the doctors found something. The doctor said it could be an infection or cancer, and if it is cancer she will have to go through chemo. My mother not to long ago had breast cancer and beat it but now she is rapid deteriorating from this Alzheimer's disease, and I don't think she is strong even to go through chemo.

My mother still can walk and still can eat but for her to engage in conversation, cooking, or doing things, is very little. Last year went she was in the hospital she became very confused and afraid. She didn't know how to speak to tell us what she wanted. I finally was able to calm that fear and let her know we will figure it out and not to worry.

She will have to stay in the hospital for one day after the biospy is done. That concerns me greatly, it will be a unfamilar place to her and cause anxiety, especially with dad not being able to stay with her.

Seeing my mother deteriorating like this and now this brings a lot of thoughts and hope whatever decision the family makes will be the best ones for her.

Please remember my mother and family in prayer.
