A famous song by the Beatles back in late 60's says.. "All you need is love".
Hmmm... is that true? Or do we need Jesus?
Can we really truly love without Jesus in our lives?
What is true love? A question with as many answers as there are Christian denominations.
1 Cor 13 in the Bible is probably the answer, but even the interpretation of those verses isn't always the same.
Did Jesus love the Pharisee's? Even when He called them a brood of vipers and sons of hell? ( Matt 3:7; Matt 12:34; Luke 3:7; )
I believe He did. He spent a lot of time telling them they were wrong about their beliefs.
Some people seem to think if we disagree with their beliefs we don't love them.
One thing to keep in mind, is that the love of God is not the salvation of God. God loves everyone,
even un-saved non-believing sinners. But that doesn't mean they are saved.
Love is a good thing to have. But love alone won't get you into heaven.
