“All things are possible to him who believes” (Mark 9:23). I don’t understand how it works, but God said as we pray we must keep believing that He has answered our prayer. The believing comes from Him. He is the author and finisher of our faith (see Hebrews 12:2). Faith is not something we can work up in ourselves. We can’t convince ourselves to believe. We have to ask Him for believing faith. The father of the afflicted son did that. He said to Jesus, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!” (Mark 9:24).

Pray in the Holy Spirit. Sometimes we don’t know how to pray when God lays a burden upon our hearts. But the Holy Spirit can pray through us. It can be in a language that nobody understands. It can be in groan ings and cryings too deep for words. Please don’t try to figure this out. God is so won derful that when we don’t know how to pray, the Holy Spirit intercedes through us. When our ability to pray comes to an end, God takes over (see Romans 8:26).

Our God is eager to hear our prayers. Let us then come before Him in the morn ing, in the evening, while we are waiting in line, driving to work or washing the dishes. Prayer need not be an activity we engage in for only an hour each morning. Rather, let us live in the atmosphere of prayer, our hearts continually being lifted up in prayer to Him. In doing so, we will come to experi ence the wonder of being colaborers with God as He works through our prayers (see 1 Corinthians 3:9).

We can’t convince ourselves to believe. We have to ask Him for believing faith. The father of the afflicted son did that. He said to Jesus, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!” (Mark 9:24).

I believe that all faith is believing faith. Didn't the writer of Hebrews say "Faith is the substance of things hoped for; firm conviction of what is not seen (understood)"? (Heb 11:6) And doesn't the New Testament say in several places that a little mustard seed of faith can move mountains?

That frightened, anguished father didn't need more faith; he needed to see the power of the faith he had as it broke through his fear-caused doubts.

All Things Are Possible!

The size of faith is not an issue, the size of a mustard seed or the size of a watermellon, faith in Him is everything. Even the smaller amount of faith, like the mustard seed, you can change the world and its understandings. The focus is not the size or my lacking or your lacking, the focus is faith itself. But faith goes hand in hand with love as much as it does with hope. Faith is my hope for today as hope is my faith for tomorrow, but all of which rests in one word, love. Without love my faith is worthless and without faith I have no hope. Paul said love was the greatest, because the Father is love and the very center of His nature is love.

The father gives us all a measure as to get us started, but if we fail, we did not fail because of faith or lacking in faith, we fail because we fail in love, if love does not become your center of your being, faith and hope become a non-starter.

Translation: Some think that faith is knowledge, or knowledge is faith. Faith is no knowledge, faith is faith, its trusting in the unseen things of the Father even if our level of wisdom fails to see.

Focus on love, make it a center point of your life, with faith, you will have hope and with hope it will complete the package making you whole in Him.

All things are possible, even the things that are beyond our wisdom levels, faith, hope and love and love being the key to it all.

Yohannan is a very goodm respectable and simple man, and his pentecostal faith holds immense appeal to me personally, just by way of its simplicity and charity. he has said some real truths about missionaries and their ineffective ways in the 3rd world. more power to him, and his church. Hope to meet him once again in the near future.
