All the Time
"Why do you call me good?" Jesus answered. "No one is good—except God alone."Mark 10:18
Everyday millions of people raise their hands in a safe comfortable place and say with their mouth that God is good. They go to sleep at night healthy under a roof in a warm comfortable bed with sheets and blankets and say, “God is good”. They get up in the morning and choose clothing from bulging drawers and say, “God is good”. They go to their full pantries and say, “God is good”. They drive in safety and say, “God is good”.

Everyday people raise their hands and hearts in dangerous and painful situations and say, “God is good”. Every night people go to sleep sick, in miserable conditions and say, “God is good”. Every morning, they stand barefoot with nothing to wear and say, “God is good”. They pray and hope for a crumb to but satisfy their starving hunger for one little moment and say, “God is good”. They feel threatened and scared for their lives and still cry out that God is good.

Why is God good? Is he less good to martyrs and the sick in the world? Is he less good to the persecuted and cast out? If our situation changed and we were tortured or one of our babies was kidnapped and killed would we still declare "God is good"? What makes us invulnerable to such earthly atrocities? Are we just part of the few elite that share in God's goodness? Are we better than all those that have gone before us? We should think, using our God-given spiritual mind. God is good to everyone on the face of this earth. God’s goodness does not just protect us from harm. All God’s works are good! His goodness is completely perfect even in the face of the most horrible suffering. No baby or child was more innocent or perfect than Christ. Christ is the most innocent person, who has ever lived or shall live. He endured the most horrible torture any human has or will ever endure! Christ suffered because of God’s goodness toward us. Let us all have faith in God all the time. God is good, regardless of our suffering or situation.

"These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."John 16:33 (King James Version

Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted. Hebrews 2:18 (New International Version)

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."Jeremiah 29:11(New International Version)

God is good all the time.

Agree with your Post completely.

God is good, all the time, that is his character and it doesnt change with our circumstance. He is God.

When I have persecution, and I have had, I'm reminded that no matter how bad it seems for the moment, I have yet had to shed any blood.
I have yet had to suffer the same suffering Jesus suffered to make a way for our redemption , so in that I'm grateful, for the day may come, and soon, where we may have to suffer for our faith.
There are many who have had, and their suffering is for a moment in time, but the reward is eternal.
So will ours be.

By the way, Welcome !
Glad to see you, and hope you like it here.
