Acts 28

I have recently come across a website called Believer.com.
It's theology seems to be based on a new dispensation given to Paul at this point (after Acts 28), for the Church.
I find it difficult to understand.
Does anyone know of it?
Shal I use it as a resource? or leave it alone.
Brothers and sisters, can anyone help me?

Interesting question.

I checked the site Believer.com. They are referred to as dispensationalists. Protestant evangelical tradition sees a series of successive dispensations. Interesting that the site Believer.com say "it avoids tradition", but dispensationalists are traditional themselves.

I am no expert on dispensational theology. But I do know that they seperate the bible into sections or dispensations.

Consideration has to be given to a definite dispensation between Law and Grace for examples sake. I do not think this is a debatable point.

You are brave fellow wandering around on the internet looking at biblical sites. Some biblical sites are loaded with theology. Some sites are no holds barred, unless you read the bible the way we do, your going to hell.

Unless you know your bible well, have settled on what you believe. Have a decent bible dictionary of theology at hand. And are willing to think long and hard about topics. Be careful.

Perhaps this quote may be appropriate:
Ephesians 4:14 "Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming.

In no way am I relating this quote to dispensationalism. Just that different schools of theology view the bible in different ways.

Just a suggestion I would stay away from Believer.com, the Companion bible which they teach out of stretches things a bit, a better idea find a good, independent, separatist, biblicist, NT Baptist local church congregation. Serve and grow, leave this New Evangelical hoey phooey.
