I was reading the thread about the Rapture and Chad posted some Greek text. He mentioned that the text was unreadable to him because it's ...well...Greek
It isn't well known, but many Greek Orthodox churches teach Biblical Greek and the classes are often open to folks who are not members of that particular church. My mother's old church offered such classes -- for free -- asking only that people purchase their own workbooks.
The synagogue closest to my college campus did the same thing with Hebrew. The classes were free, and they used the Torah as the main body of text from which to learn the language.
There used to be a Serbian-Orthodox church online that had an online course in Aramaic. I can't post links, but if you look for it and it still exists I'm sure you could find it.
A few Catholic churches still teach Latin (but that language is not requried to read any of the oldest copies of Biblical writings).

These classes are generally better than what you would find in the average secular collage, because they teach the archaic/Biblical structure of the languages and not the modern ones.
If anyone wants to learn the languages in which God first chose to have His Word recorded, this may be a good way to go.
