Hey everyone,

Tomorrow I have time trials for athletics. The distances are 100m, 200m and 400m.

I am extremely nervous and am starting to doubt my ability and need the lords strength to get me thru tomorrow and training throughout the year.

Could you please pray that I have the strength to run my best tomorrow and for the strength to get through this season without any problems (i.e. injuries, anaemia).

I know it's a bit of a stupid thing to pray for but athletics is one of the most important things in my life.

I don't want to disappoint myself or my coach (especially my coach) .

Thanks for taking the time to read this. :)

I know there are alot more serious things to pray about but athletics is the only thing in my life that keeps me going, the only thing that I'm good at and it means so much to me.

Your sis in Christ,
Christine

Father we thank You that Your blessing and favor are already on Christine ! Thanks for hearing and thanks for caring, in Jesus Name, amen.

First of all, nothing is too small or too great for God to care or to overcome.

Second, any and all things that you hold dear or like, etc. God sees as important. So, he understand how important this is to you. It isn't silly to Him either.

Father God, you know how my sister is nervous, etc about this up coming athletic event(s). I ask that you would still her heart and give her peace of mind and body. I ask that you would cover her with your protection and not let anything that would hinder her performance to occur. I pray this in Jesus' name, Amen!

Christine, I'm bothered that you seem to see yourself as a failure when your best athletic effort does not produce a win or a high position (2nd or 3rd) at the end of the contest. We are fallible human beings, not machines. The best effort you put out today, you may not equal tomorrow even though you're putting forth your best effort again. I hope that your coach recognizes that and judges his/her athletes' performances accordingly.

I'm praying that you will be "at the top of your game" in every contest, whatever that "top" might be.
