I admit that I ripped this off from a combination of T.S. Eliot's 'Old Possum's Book Of Curious Cats' and of course St. Paul. Since T'ggr (a name ripped off from Winnie the Pooh) are the main characters in my Christian fantasy series, "The Rum-Tum-Tugger' Instantly caught my eye. And Pen. Bux is money.

RUM TUM TIGG’R

The Rum Tum Tigg’r is such a curious guy
I do what I don’t want to and I don’t know why
When I try to do good, I just go and do bad
Taking a course on self control just made me mad
I try to tell the whole truth but embellish it with lies
I always do something foolish when I try to act wise
To loose weight is my fondest dream
But when I diet I gobble ice cream
The Rum Tum Tigg’r is a contrary Katz
When the choir sings sharps I want to sing flats
I know doing right is what I should do
But doing wrong is what I would do
In church I gave 10 bux, all thought it was great
Until I took 9 bux change from the collection plate
I agree the law is good but I just can’t do it
I always break it, but then I rue it
I admit it Lord, I’m glad we’re saved by Grace
Or I would be on the express to the hellish place
