I have been amazed at the number of people that have found this Forum "by accident" that feel the need to post things of questionable motive. My greatest concern for these people is that their statements, though innaproriate according to the rules of this site, may test our patience to a limit we as Christians should not have. If we do not allow these people the oppurtunity to understand the awesome power of God through Jesus Christ than we have sinned ourselves. Remember that it is the sick that need a doctor! (The healthy have to work.)

ReligousNaked is an example of what I mean. He has said:

"Thats all well and good... but you still impose your own beliefs upon someone when you have no experience with which to base them."

And again:

"The book you hold in your hand does not give anyone the right to ridicule a woman in the way she has been done so by certain people in this thread.

My point is that guidance should be offered here, UNLESS first hand experience of a particular situation has been had, NOT emptyhanded posturing, blowing excessive amounts of hot air and waving of arms."Life is all about experience, which people have to learn for themselves. People make mistakes, they learn from them and they move on, hopefully a better person for it."

ReligiousNaked speaks of experience being the key to wisdom. I agree and I'll tell you why.

I have first hand experience of God's awesome power in my life. I remember the day that I was saved, exactly where I was and exactly how it happened and it wasn't anything short of a miracle. Everybody here who claims Jesus as his or her saviour has had their own first hand experience of God's love. What I would like to do is start a thread of teaching by experience. Let's share our stories of God's work within our lives to allow these people to understand that our desire to follow Biblical teaching comes from love and not arrogance.

Luke 9:1-5
1*Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. 2*And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick. 3*And he said unto them, Take nothing for your journey, neither staves, nor scrip, neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece. 4*And whatsoever house ye enter into, there abide, and thence depart. 5 And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them.

I agree with you ChrisM, if everyone's personal experience is supported by the Bible, which is the authority of Truth and that their story points to Jesus Christ and Him alone. I think a thread for people to post their story(testimony) would be great and very effective. When someone like religiousnaked comes along they could just be directed to that thread to read for themselves and avoid the same message being given 14 times. I say direct them there and if they still want to reject the Truth SHAKE OF THE DUST!
