A Mother's Plea
© By: Walli Zamorano
Lord, it is me again.
When Lord when,
will you answer my request
and deliver me from this test.
Lord, don't you remember the day
when my little boy was saved?
He was so curious to find out,
what knowing You was all about.
Remember the year,
when he was tormented with fear
and would not let go of my hand.
How you set him free,
when I took authority.
You baptized him in the Holy Ghost
that is what he wanted most,
when he was just fifteen years old.
Lord, only You know,
what it was that made him let go.
The only thing that I can see,
is that he was seduced by the enemy.
His mind is confused,
his heart is far away from you,
nothing that I say or do
is getting through.
Lord, it has been too long.
I am trying to be strong.
Please hear my supplication.
I am contending for his salvation.
Lord, just like the prodigal son,
back to his senses let him come.
Lord, I will not give you any rest
I will not give up, I will not let go,
even if I'm a hundred years old,
until I know, that I know,
that he is back in the fold.
