A little girl called Harriet

Please would it be possible to pray for protection and guidance for a three year old girl called Harriet. She currently attends nursery five days a week and is being ignored and rejected by her mother. The marriage between her mother and father is under strain (he thinks she is having an affair) and the father is unsure what to do and has no family support or friends where they live. They are not Christians and infact the mother is involved in druid worship and the occult, which her husband has now got involved in too - they see nothing wrong in this.

Harriet's closest companion seems to be the family dog - who she refers to as her 'brother'. It is a very sad situation. The father, Robert, is being encouraged by someone I know to put Harriet first.

Only the Lord knows what the best outcome for all would be - but given Harriet's vulnerability I would be grateful for prayer support for her and her family.

That is a very sad situation indeed, unfortunately way too common in this world, but do not worry. We can and will intercede on her/their behalf through prayer, and the Lord will have His way in that situation. God is always in control, and will truly bless this family in His perfect timing, as a result of faithful prayer and intercession.

I will be praying for the whole family! Expect to see miracles & blessing poured out on that family, to the glory of the Lord!!

How sad. I will definitely pray for her and her parents. Don't you think if the situation is that bad that you should perhaps contact child services or something? I don't know how it works in your country, but there must be something you can do legally? Neglect is form of abuse and can have long lasting affects. She needs to find a loving family to raise her better.

Thank you and God bless you for your prayers. We are waiting to hear that her father has gone to the doctor to explain the situation, including the fact that the mother is rejecting her daughter. We hope to hear very soon - that is what my friend has recommended he do.

I had not thought of contacting social services, but if we do not hear that the father is seeking help, I shall pray about this.

Heavenly Father I bring this situation to you. I ask you Lord to over-rule and to bring these folks to salvation. Bless this little girl and lead her in paths of righteousness.......Amen
