Hi everyone! Just a little bio-- I'm 34 soon to be 35 next month. I live in Pa with my husband of 17 yrs, & 2 daughters(17yrs & 7yrs). I am an LPN at a nursing home. I attend church every other weekend due to my work schedule . I also attend the Celebrate Recovery program at my church and we have home group(bible study) at my house every Wed eve.
I grew up in a so called christian home. My parents weren't avail when I needed them most! They divorced when I was 17 or 18(don't remember exactly, so many things occuring at that point in my life) I became pregnant at 17, graduated HS early & married the father of my children! Praise God for the things he has done in my life!!
I have been struggling for 17 yrs with the guilt of becoming a pregnant teen.
That's one of the reasons I attend Celebrate Recovery. I am finally accepting God's forgiveness(I know it's been there all along) & allowing His grace to absorb. I have had a hard time forgiving myself! I also am dealing with a lot of resentment towards my parents for my childhood and upbringing. God's continuing His work in my life! No chrisitan left behind!!
