*Worthless Virtue

Virtues in unsaved men and women are nothing but whitewashed sins. The best accomplishment of an unchanged character is worthless in God's sight. It lacks the stamp of grace on it; and that which does not have the stamp of grace on it is a counterfeit coin.

I agree and go further to say that any carnal work however good it may seem practiced by the believer or non-believer are found lacking in God's sight. The value of a work is assessed in accordance with where the work originated, God or man.
