He laid His hands on everyone of them and healed them
Luke 4:40

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ

I would like to ask that you raise a prayer for a very dear brother in the Lord called Rod

He is in his eighties and has been diagnosed with lung cancer and is suffering from severe breathing difficulties

He knows that he is in the Lord's hands and that the Lord is able to fully heal him

Likewise he also knows, with blessed anticipation, that his time to go home to be with the Lord may be near.

He continues to witness to the doctors and nurses treating him and wants use every opportunity to talk about the Saviour and to lead lost souls to Christ.

Please join with me in prayer especially for his healing and that he may continue to witness for the Lord right through to the end of his days

Thank you

Julia

I have fought a good fight,
I have finished my course,
I have kept the faith

Blessings Rod.

Psa 23:6 Surely Your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the LORD forever.

jskm I do not know the outcome of Rod,but you can be sure I will keep you both in my prayers. When I myself went into heart surgery,a doctor the Lord sent gave me something to read.It can make one both happy, and sad,but when I went back home from my surgery,I will never forget these words,to this day I hear them, and they bring me such comfort! 2 Tim 4:1-8 Let these words from our loving Father bring you both comfort!verse 8 in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous JUDGE,will award to me on that day;and not only to me,but also to ALL who haved loved HIS appearing. Blessing to you both in Jesus name! amen.

All things work together for good to them that love God

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ

Here is a short update on Rod's condition

Firstly, thank you Brighthouse, rlowe and agua for your messages and prayers.

Rod's condition took a turn for the worse at the end of last week, when his eyesight failed and he became very confused.

He was admitted to hospital and has remained on an emergency admissions ward for the last 4 days. The ward is very noisy and he has had no sleep atall. Please pray with me that this dear brother can rest and sleep.

He commences radiotherapy on the 13th January. I believe, that medically the lung cancer is inoperable and his treatment is just palliative.

However, we have a mighty Lord and Saviour who is far above all, and able to do miracles and let us call on His wonderful power to touch Rod.

Thank you again for your prayers

Your sister in our beautiful Lord Jesus Christ

Julia

He shall call unto Me and I will answer
Psalm 91:51

Thank you dear brothers and sisters for your prayers.

A little update on Rod, a very dear brother in the Lord

He is becoming very confused. He telephoned me yesterday and didnt know who I was or who he was calling. He also spoke to my husband and thought he was his social worker. However despite his confusion he was able to speak of his love for the Lord during the call. That was so beautiful to hear and let us praise the Lord for Rod's strong faith.

He is due to commence chemotherapy later this week.

Please continue to pray with me that Rod will know the Lord's love surrounding him and that he is able to continue to witness to others even when he is so ill.

We live over 200 miles from him so contact is via the phone and letter.....and we are also praying that he has beautiful Christian fellowship and love from Christians local to him.

May the Lord bless you all and thank you again for your faithful prayers.

Your sister in Jesus Christ our Lord

Julia
