A Conversion In The Student Center
While two chaplains were sitting in the student center, praying about what God might have them do next, a woman approached them, smiled, and walked on past. She then, turned and came back to them, this time studying them and asking if she could sit down. They obviously agreed and a conversation began. The woman was from India and of Hindu background and thinking that the woman chaplain was also from India, had sought her out to talk. The woman shared that she had felt a "tug" to talk to them, not understanding that the Holy Spirit was working in her life and that there was Good News to be heard in the midst of chaos. The woman surrendered her life to Jesus and professed Him as her Savior. She exclaimed that she "felt lighter" and was very happy about it. God had tugged her to Himself and taken the weight of sin from her. She walked in a Hindu, had a conversation and walked out a Christian!

That's an awesome story, Stephen, a testimony to the fact that evangelism is not about highly structured programs and rehearsed evangelistic "sales pitches": it's about being ready to recognize and respond at a moment's notice to a move of the Holy Spirit.

"The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit." (Jn 3:8)

Wow thank you for posting this for us stephen. It is good to hear of those who are converted to Christianity as well of others who come to Jesus from the enemy's camp.

Thank you Jesus that your Holy Spirit convicts people of their need for Salvation and a personal relationship with you.
