A broken Family

Hi I believe I have already asked for prayer for my family a long time ago but I need it again.
My dad has been fighting an addiction for a long time now......I guess sense I was 13 or 14, I am now 23. It has come close to ripping our family apart many of times. I have 2 brothers who have delt with the effects of our dads addiction in there own ways, none of them being God. My dad is a good person and he believes in God but he cant seem to beat this. But in the process of trying he has exausted my mom and she's tired. I guess 10 years will do that to you. Anyway sorry about the story please pray my dad has one week to detox and stay off. Or my moms leaving. I am trying my best to remain faithful and pray but the truth is I am scared. All this suffering my family has gone through would it all be for nothing?

I'm sorry to hear about your pain brother. GOD is faithful and can heal our hurts, set us free in Jesus Christ and restore our familes. Don't lose faith, otherwise you gain what?

Touch this family, heal the wounds and remove that spirit of addiction.
You are mighty God, Lord of Lords there is nothing you can not do.
Bring hope, peace and Love to this family, strenghten each individual.
Bind them together Lord, let your glory fall in that house.

I plead the blood of Jesus upon them, let your Holy Spirit speak life into their hearts. God reveal yourself to them.
I ask that this week of detox be successful, replace the addiction for a hunger for you.

Lord bless my brother, help him to not grow weary but to put all his trust in you.
