A Breach in the spirit?
Pro 15:4 A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but PERVERSENESS THEREIN IS A BREACH IN THE SPIRIT.
Since everything was made by the Word, through the Word, and for the Word, and since if any man speaks, he should only speak the very Words of God.
1Pe 4:11 IF ANYONE HAS ANYTHING TO SAY, LET IT BE AS THE WORDS OF GOD;........ (BBE)
A “breach” in the spirit happens when we say things that are not according to what God says who we are, what he has given us, and where he has brought us to. A breach is the breaking down of a wall that protects you from harm.
Ecc 10:8 He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and WHOSO BREAKETH AN HEDGE, A SERPENT SHALL BITE HIM.
We all know who the “serpent” is that comes to kill, steal, and to destroy. The enemy of our soul can not touch the one who has his guard up, for he keeps himself from harm by the very words of his mouth.
1John 5:18 We know that everyone who has been born of God does not keep on sinning, but HE WHO WAS BORN OF GOD PROTECTS HIM, AND THE EVIL ONE DOES NOT TOUCH HIM.
Eph 4:26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
Eph 4:27 NEITHER GIVE PLACE TO THE DEVIL.
Speaking words that are perverse, and that is not of faith causes a breach in your spirit by which the devil can gain access to cause harm, not only to you but also to your own family. Whoever breaks down a “hedge” will be bitten by a serpent! Wrong words give "place" to the devil!
Eph 4:29 LET NO CORRUPT COMMUNICATION PROCEED OUT OF YOUR MOUTH, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
When speaking words of doubt, and unbelief that is NOT from what God says, that is “corrupt” communication that not only affects you but also all those who hear you. Wrong words do not minister grace to the those who are hearing you.
1Pe 3:10 For HE THAT WILL LOVE LIFE, AND SEE GOOD DAYS, let him REFRAIN HIS TONGUE FROM EVIL, and his lips that they speak no guile:
Speaking evil is saying words that seem harmless, but convey information that is contrary to what God has already said of who we are, were we are, and what he has already done, and given us! If we speak evil how can one ever love life and see good days? But, brother Curtis I only say what I feel, and what I see with my eyes! Nowhere in the Bible does it say to speak what you feel, or see. We are only to speak what we believe, which comes from the Word of God that we speak!
