A body divided.

In my church there was this young man. He is disabled been his whole life. Seizures is common in his life he is on 30 different medications.

One day his meds "got off" needed a tweaking, reviewing. This man long time member of the church and a servant tirelessly. Always there to help.

The un balance of his meds caused some behavior that was a tad scary and the church asked him to leave.

When I saw him one month later he cried on my shoulder his meds were off they had been fixed but he felt shunned. On facebook other members attacked him.

I put this together then.

What is more desirable, to sharpen Iron? Or, making level paths for your feet? Perhaps, it is best, to not be wise in your own eyes. To not be puffed up, only learning to do what is right. Seeking justice, encouraging the oppressed, defending their cause. Fighting for the fatherless, and pleading the case of the widow. Healing the lame not disabling them.(Proverbs 27:17, Proverbs 4:26, Proverbs 3:7, Habakkuk 2:4, Isaiah 1:17, Hebrews 12:13)

Why is it that I see this bickering and fighting among our family? We are missing the GRACE of GOD, and we are allowing a bitter vile root to grow up. If we allow it to continue it will cause nothing but trouble. In the end it will defile many. (1 Corinthians 11:18, Hebrews 12:15)

One famous World War II leader said "one cannot break the Church over one’s knee. It has to be left to rot like a gangrenous limb" (Hitler's Cross, How the cross was used to promote the nazi agenda, quote by Hitler page 134, 1995, 2012 by Erwin Lutzer)

In Luke 11:17 Jesus says "A Church that is ripped apart with disagreements inside its members is a body filled with cancer it is doomed for desolation, fit for nothing, made desolate, ruined. Every family that is disfunctional, falls apart, will not stand, and will collapse upon itself."

For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. (James 2:26 KJV)

But I urge and entreat you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you be in perfect harmony and full agreement in what you say, and that there be no dissensions or factions or divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in your common understanding and in your opinions and judgments.(1 Corinthians 1:10 AMP), Woe to them! For they have run riotously in the way of Cain, and have abandoned themselves for the sake of gain [it offers them, following] the error of Balaam, and have perished in rebellion [like that] of Korah! [Gen. 4:3-8; Num. 16; 22-24.](Jude 1:11 AMP)

For it is time for judgment to begin with the family of God; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?(1 Peter 4:17 NIV), I am writing these things to you about those who are trying to lead you astray.(1 John 2:26 NIV), Some people think they are doing right, but in the end it leads to death.(Proverbs 14:12 NCV)Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute.(2 Peter 2:2 NIV)

Let no man divide what God has put together.'(Mark 10:9 NLV),We know that we live in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.(1 John 4:13 NIV)

But these men speak against things they do not understand. They are like animals in the way they act. By these things they destroy themselves.(Jude 1:10 NLV), In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.(2 Peter 2:3 NIV)

Jesus shrugged it off. "Every tree that wasn't planted by my Father in heaven will be pulled up by its roots.(Matthew 15:13 MSG), "What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate."(Mark 10:9 NASB)

I will therefore put you in remembrance, though you formerly knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them who did not believe.(Jude 1:5 LONT) These are the people who divide you, people whose thoughts are only of this world, who do not have the Spirit.(Jude 1:19 NCV) These men complain and are never happy with anything. They let their desires lead them into sin. When they talk about themselves, they make it sound as if they are great people. They show respect to people only to get something out of them.(Jude 1:16 NLV)

Likewise the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark.(James 3:5 NIV) Be on guard, for there will be people who will hand you over to the local Sanhedrins and flog you in their synagogues.(Matthew 10:17 CJB) My brothers, as believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ, don't show favoritism.(James 2:1 NIV)

Here is how we know that we remain united with him and he with us: he has given to us from his own Spirit.(1 John 4:13 CJB) Anyone who shows no loving will have no loving shown to him when he is told he is guilty. But if you show loving, God will show loving to you when you are told you are guilty.(James 2:13 NLV) Forget about deciding what's right for each other. Here's what you need to be concerned about: that you don't get in the way of someone else, making life more difficult than it already is.(Romans 14:13 MSG)

For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.(James 2:10 NIV) Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life in him.(1 John 3:15 NIV) Do not be like Cain. He was a child of the devil and killed his brother. Why did he kill him? It was because he did what was sinful and his brother did what was right.(1 John 3:12 NLV)

So the eye cannot say to the hand, "I don't need you"; or the head to the feet, "I don't need you."(1 Corinthians 12:21 CJB) Such "wisdom" does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, of the devil.(James 3:15 NIV) "No one is able to come to Me unless the Father Who sent Me attracts and draws him and gives him the desire to come to Me, and [then] I will raise him up [from the dead] at the last day.(John 6:44 AMP) "So then, no one should break apart what God has joined together."(Mark 10:9 CJB)

(for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)--(2 Peter 2:8 NIV) You have killed men who are right with God who were not making it hard for you.(James 5:6 NLV), have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?(James 2:4 NIV)

Did you not know that we are to judge angels? So you should be able to take care of your problem here in this world without any trouble.(1 Corinthians 6:3 NLV) Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters?(1 Corinthians 6:2 CAB)

So where does that leave you when you criticize a brother? And where does that leave you when you condescend to a sister? I'd say it leaves you looking pretty silly--or worse. Eventually, we're all going to end up kneeling side by side in the place of judgment, facing God. Your critical and condescending ways aren't going to improve your position there one bit.(Romans 14:10 MSG) "I'll tell you by what authority I do these things if you answer one question," Jesus replied.(Matthew 21:24 NLTse) Where did John's right to baptize come from: was it from God or from human beings?" They started to argue among themselves, "What shall we say? If we answer, 'From God,' he will say to us, 'Why, then, did you not believe John?'(Matthew 21:25 GNB) Jesus said to him, "On the other hand, it is written, `YOU SHALL NOT PUT THE LORD YOUR GOD TO THE TEST.'"(Matthew 4:7 NASB)

Brothers and sisters, I ask you to look out for those who cause people to be against each other and who upset other people's faith. They are against the true teaching you learned, so stay away from them.(Romans 16:17 NCV), he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does.(James 1:8 NIV) I appeal to you, brethren, to be on your guard concerning those who create dissensions and difficulties and cause divisions, in opposition to the doctrine (the teaching) which you have been taught. [I warn you to turn aside from them, to] avoid them.(Romans 16:17 AMP) Who is [such a] liar as he who denies that Jesus is the Christ (the Messiah)? He is the antichrist (the antagonist of Christ), who [habitually] denies and refuses to acknowledge the Father and the Son.(1 John 2:22 AMP)

And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother.(1 John 4:21 NIV), For where there are jealousy and selfish ambition, there will be disharmony and every foul practice.(James 3:16 CJB), You are joined together with peace through the Spirit, so make every effort to continue together in this way.(Ephesians 4:3 NCV), alert at noticing differences and quick at mending fences.(Ephesians 4:3 MSG), because every child of God is able to defeat the world. And we win the victory over the world by means of our faith.(1 John 5:4 GNB)

What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don't they come from your desires that battle within you?(James 4:1 NIV) You were all called to travel on the same road and in the same direction, so stay together, both outwardly and inwardly. You have one Master, one faith, one baptism,(Ephesians 4:4-5 MSG) As a matter of fact, my friends, I could not talk to you as I talk to people who have the Spirit; I had to talk to you as though you belonged to this world, as children in the Christian faith.(1 Corinthians 3:1 GNB) Anyone who goes beyond Christ's teaching and does not continue to follow only his teaching does not have God. But whoever continues to follow the teaching of Christ has both the Father and the Son.(2 John 1:9 NCV)

Do all you can to live a peaceful life. Take care of your own business, and do your own work as we have already told you.(1 Thessalonians 4:11 NCV) Jesus said, "Come follow me, and I will make you fish for people."(Matthew 4:19 NCV) People cannot come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them to me; and I will raise them to life on the last day.(John 6:44 GNB) Behold, the inheritance of the Lord, children, the reward of the fruit of the womb.(Psalms 127:3 CAB) What marvelous love the Father has extended to us! Just look at it--we're called children of God! That's who we really are. But that's also why the world doesn't recognize us or take us seriously, because it has no idea who he is or what he's up to.(1 John 3:1 MSG) For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world--our faith. (1 John 5:4 NASB)

Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.(1 John 3:2 NIV) Here is how we know that we remain united with him and he with us: he has given to us from his own Spirit.(1 John 4:13 CJB) "What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate."(Mark 10:9 NASB) Yes, you who trust him recognize the honor God has given him. But for those who reject him, "The stone that the builders rejected has now become the cornerstone."(1 Peter 2:7 NLTse) and, "A stone that causes men to stumble and a rock that makes them fall." They stumble because they disobey the message--which is also what they were destined for.(1 Peter 2:8 NIV) For we all often stumble and fall and offend in many things. And if anyone does not offend in speech [never says the wrong things], he is a fully developed character and a perfect man, able to control his whole body and to curb his entire nature.(James 3:2 AMP)

Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God's will in thought, purpose, and action),(2 Timothy 3:16 AMP) For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.(Hebrews 4:12 AMP)

But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them--bringing swift destruction on themselves.(2 Peter 2:1 NIV) Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.(James 1:27 NIV) We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.(1 John 5:19 NIV) Moreover, this is the message which we have heard from him, and declare to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.(1 John 1:5 LONT) If people say, "I love God," but hate their brothers or sisters, they are liars. Those who do not love their brothers and sisters, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have never seen.(1 John 4:20 NCV) But these men blaspheme in matters they do not understand. They are like brute beasts, creatures of instinct, born only to be caught and destroyed, and like beasts they too will perish.(2 Peter 2:12 NIV)

If you listen to the word, but do not put it into practice you are like people who look in a mirror and see themselves as they are. (James 1:23 GNB) walk away, and two minutes later have no idea who they are, what they look like.(James 1:24 MSG) Waterless springs they are, mists driven by a gust of wind; for them has been reserved the blackest darkness.(2 Peter 2:17 CJB)But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it--he will be blessed in what he does.(James 1:25 NIV)

Whoever says he is in the Light and [yet] hates his brother [Christian, born-again child of God his Father] is in darkness even until now.(1 John 2:9 AMP) But anyone who hates another brother or sister is still living and walking in darkness. Such a person does not know the way to go, having been blinded by the darkness.(1 John 2:11 NLTse) The person who keeps loving his brother remains in the light, and there is nothing in him that could make him trip.(1 John 2:10 CJB) The person who refuses to love doesn't know the first thing about God, because God is love--so you can't know him if you don't love.(1 John 4:8 MSG) Also we have come to know and trust the love that God has for us. God is love; and those who remain in this love remain united with God, and God remains united with them.(1 John 4:16 CJB)

There is no fear in love. Perfect love puts fear out of our hearts. People have fear when they are afraid of being punished. The man who is afraid does not have perfect love.(1 John 4:18 NLV) Only it must be in faith that he asks with no wavering (no hesitating, no doubting). For the one who wavers (hesitates, doubts) is like the billowing surge out at sea that is blown hither and thither and tossed by the wind. (James 1:6 AMP) Don't be deceived, my dear brothers.(James 1:16 NIV) That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; (James 1:7 NIV) If anyone thinks himself to be religious (piously observant of the external duties of his faith) and does not bridle his tongue but deludes his own heart, this person's religious service is worthless (futile, barren).(James 1:26 AMP)

Now to you who believe, this stone is precious. But to those who do not believe, "The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone, "(1 Peter 2:7 NIV) This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.(1 John 1:5 NIV) If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth.(1 John 1:6 NIV) The man who says, "I know him," but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him.(1 John 2:4 NIV) Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist--he denies the Father and the Son.(1 John 2:22 NIV)

But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved.(Hebrews 10:39 NIV) For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.(1 Peter 1:23 NIV) And God has given us his Spirit as proof that we live in him and he in us.(1 John 4:13 NLTse) Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling.(1 Peter 4:9 NIV) Don't grumble against each other, brothers, or you will be judged. The Judge is standing at the door!(James 5:9 NIV) Brothers, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against his brother or judges him speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it.(James 4:11 NIV) But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not dare to bring a slanderous accusation against him, but said, "The Lord rebuke you!"(Jude 1:9 NIV

Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you,(Matthew 5:23 NIV)But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth.(James 3:14 NIV) for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.(1 John 5:4 NIV) but the tongue of men, no one can subdue; it is an unruly evil thing, full of deadly poison.(James 3:8 LONT) We all stumble in many ways. If anyone is never at fault in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to keep his whole body in check.(James 3:2 NIV)

My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry,(James 1:19 NIV) If anyone sees his brother commit a sin that does not lead to death, he should pray and God will give him life. I refer to those whose sin does not lead to death. There is a sin that leads to death. I am not saying that he should pray about that.(1 John 5:16 NIV) Elijah was a man just like us. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years.(James 5:17 NIV) Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.(James 5:18 NIV)

As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance.(1 Peter 1:14 NIV) Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from the heart.(1 Peter 1:22 NIV)for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.(1 John 5:4 NIV) If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.(James 1:5 NIV) Real wisdom, God's wisdom, begins with a holy life and is characterized by getting along with others. It is gentle and reasonable, overflowing with mercy and blessings, not hot one day and cold the next, not two-faced.(James 3:17 MSG) Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.(1 Peter 5:7 NIV)

Keep yourselves in God's love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.(Jude 1:21 NIV) Bear in mind that our Lord's patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him.(2 Peter 3:15 NIV) Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord,(Ephesians 5:19 NIV) Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom,(James 2:12 NIV) Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your hands, just as we told you,(1 Thessalonians 4:11 NIV) Show proper respect to everyone: Love the brotherhood of believers, fear God, honor the king.(1 Peter 2:17 NIV)

We write this to make our joy complete.(1 John 1:4 NIV) Keep yourselves in God's love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.(Jude 1:21 NIV) To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.(1 Peter 2:21 NIV) Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.(1 John 5:5 NIV)
