  1. I watched TBN over the weekend, I think it was Saturday morning or early afternoon.

I'm not a huge fan of the TBN network, neither most Christian networks, even if they are from South Africa, the reason for this is that there seems to be mixed messages being sent across, which is not what Jesus wants and is definitely not what Jesus taught.

I would like to ask for your knowledge today regarding these 7 Supernatural gifts, which God is said to give to us we obey certain rituals, like communion and so on.

This is the message that sister Paula White a well known Pastor from America has been sending out on TBN.

Here is the link for your reference:

Paula White : God Has An Appointment With You! Passover 2007 is April 3rd!

Is this Biblical? Is it from Jesus and can we trust this?

Your thoughts and opinions would be appreciated.

    God bless

    This is all in exodus.
God's Angel to Prepare the Way
20 "See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared. 21 Pay attention to him and listen to what he says. Do not rebel against him; he will not forgive your rebellion, since my Name is in him. 22 If you listen carefully to what he says and do all that I say, I will be an enemy to your enemies and will oppose those who oppose you. 23 My angel will go ahead of you and bring you into the land of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites and Jebusites, and I will wipe them out. 24 Do not bow down before their gods or worship them or follow their practices. You must demolish them and break their sacred stones to pieces. 25 Worship the LORD your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you, 26 and none will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will give you a full life span.

27 "I will send my terror ahead of you and throw into confusion every nation you encounter. I will make all your enemies turn their backs and run. 28 I will send the hornet ahead of you to drive the Hivites, Canaanites and Hittites out of your way. 29 But I will not drive them out in a single year, because the land would become desolate and the wild animals too numerous for you. 30 Little by little I will drive them out before you, until you have increased enough to take possession of the land.

31 "I will establish your borders from the Red Sea [a] to the Sea of the Philistines, and from the desert to the River. [c] I will hand over to you the people who live in the land and you will drive them out before you. 32 Do not make a covenant with them or with their gods. 33 Do not let them live in your land, or they will cause you to sin against me, because the worship of their gods will certainly be a snare to you."

I do not like the way they are asking people to send in money.

Steve Munsey does not get a good report on the internet either.

God has given us many scriptures.

The greatest commandment was to love the Lord your God with all your heart with all your mind and all your strength and to love your neighbour as yourself.

    21 Misfortune pursues the sinner,
but prosperity is the reward of the righteous.

I do not see how it has anything to do with passover.

    God bless

  3. Things that come to my mind for these statements:

    1. God will assign an angel to you.
Maybe this means the holy spirit? John 14:16 "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another comforter, that he may abide with you for ever." The comforter is the Holy Spirit.

    2. God will be an enemy to your enemies.
Genesis 12:3 "And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee..." God was speaking to Abram.

    6. God will bring increase and inheritance.
My opinion is if you tithe God will take care of your finances. But it's wrong to assume that God wants to give you millions of dollars, big homes and expensive cars. I think it should mean that you will never hunger and you'll always have shelter and be free from want. Believe it or not lots of people think God's going to send them one million dollars.

And I saved this for last...
    3. God will give you prosperity.
Don't we always prosper when God is on our side?
  4. Thank you sister Lady and sister Mouse. I believe the act of communion, which is to be done in rememberance of Jesus, was taken completely out of context here, but I have not heard the entire series, so this is just my first assumption.

The above is taken from the link teraside provided.

Ephesians 1:3: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,”

Ephesians 1:7: “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace."

    Eph 1.8
8I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, 19and his incomparably great power for us who believe.

2"Honor your father and mother"—which is the first commandment with a promise— 3"that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth."

Philippians 4:19: “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

    Jesus Heals the Sick
23Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people

    Heb 1.
14Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?

    Psalm 72

The mountains will bring prosperity to the people,
the hills the fruit of righteousness.
    7 In his days the righteous will flourish;
prosperity will abound till the moon is no more.

    Luke 6.
38Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."

These are biblical truths from the Word of God.

    God bless

  6. Amen! Thank you sister Lady, you have really shown your Biblical knowledge here today and I bet there is many more additions to this.

I hope people who were thinking of getting this series would think twice now.

    God bless you
    Much love
  7. Another good verse to add to the above would be, 2 Corinthians 1:20 For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.
All the promises of God in Christ are yes and amen to us, it doesn't get any better than that.

There is a revelation of prosperity, and God does want to prosper people. God's prosperity is based on giving to others. There are business men that God has raised up that give up to 90 per cent of their earnings to help in spreading the gospel of the kingdom. They are the type of people the Lord is interested in prospering financially, the givers, not the misers.

The trick is to hear from God and send the money to the right people, the people God is using to spread the gospel of the kingdom.

  8. Just done a short study on Exodus 23 after following your link,Teraside.
Feel it was a promise to the children of Israel of what God would do if they obeyed Him.
Looking at the link, feels like it's "phishing for donations" with the false promise of blessing.
  9. Exactly what I thought too brother. Hence my statement in my first post reply.

Too many are doing this now and I have stopped watching them all.

    God bless

  10. Money, money, money.

Or should I say give me, give me, give me. While there are preachers on there who don't go after the dollars as hard as others, money seems to be the name of the game. Have you ever hear this? Lets make this your "Breakthrough night," or you need to send us your "seed faith money" before God will bless you by letting you back into his---.

Personally, I don't live out in the world and have to send someone money so I can have a "breakthrough" and get back to God. That sounds like buying my salvation to me. I have been a born again christian for over 50 years now and I'm not sending anyone money to see if God will bless me more than He already does. My relationship with him has already grown and I need not send anyone else money as seed faith. Like the lady said, "I take that part of God's word that is meant for me and I kick the rest under the bed, thank you very much.
  11. The only giving they are encouraging is you giving to them, when is the last time you heard any TV evangelist tell everyone to call in if you have a need and we will try and meet your needs. They seem to be more like high pressure, high level, manipulating, motivational speakers out to scam you for a buck or two.

I have some first hand experiences with some of these now well known figures. Many of them were veery passionate about Jesus and helping others but somewhere along the way they have been deceived and distracted. So with that I say ignore them and go find some poor people in your own area and give to them, you will be blessed, the poor people will be blessed and Father will be blessed.
  12. Brother jiggy you hit the nail on the head. That's how I feel also.

One thing to ask yourself: why should they [evangelists] ask you for money? Does GOD not provide for all? Are they not in this for His purpose? Therefore, if GOD laid the purpose before them, will He not provide without the need for them asking for donations?

    Amen :)
