:D Hi, my name is Darlene from CT. I'm 20 years in the Lord, but have lived on this earth for 44 years. I was married for almost 22 years, but I'm now single again. I have two grown children, a son almost 21 and a daughter 19. This is the third Christian site I've joined. I'm hoping to just meet great Christian friends. I'm not looking for a relationship, because the first one was suppose to be "till death do us part." My quest is to get closer to the Lord each day and to fulfill his purpose in my life and in his kingdom. I do have a hard time sharing my views on the forums, because I don't want to judge or cause someone to judge me, but I will do my best to join in. I like this site so far and I hope to be a long time member. By the way, my username, Stormy(24), is my cats name, she was a rescue from last September and I took her in just before hurricane "Isabella" came by Connecticut. I'm not a stormy person, I'm actually very quiet, even though I'm on fire for Jesus. God Bless! :wink:

Hi, Darlene. I, too, am a long time in the Lord, but right now it seems like I'm in the desert. I've been here before and I know God will show me the way out but patience is not one of my virtues. I love to talk about the Lord, but, like you, am hesitant because I don't know how people will receive what I say. I will be praying for you. By the way - my name is Jayne and I live in Port Orchard WA.
