Thanks for welcoming me to the site.

I have two questions that I think about alot

1. How did it come to the conclusion that Jesus died for our sins, and not simply died because of his "blasphemy" as they said, claimings. I mean like this.. didnt he get tortured and hung, just like "somebody else" would, for making those claimings? Whats the proof of that he did it for our sins? ( I dont need any proof cause Im still a believer of Jesus, its just an interesting question I think) I hope you understand my question, I have a hard time explaining it

and the second one..

2. I like to fight. Not at all on the street, and I really dont like (I wont say hate cause you shoulent hate anybody) people who hurt other people. I really dont like hurting people and never ever pick fights or anything like that.Im not like that. I just mean sportwise..I train boxing and muay thay, and the thing is, I dont know how to think when Im going to meet an opponent and train for him now..is it wrong to think youre going to crush him? I think so,cause God doesnt like "hurting thaughts"..should i think hes my friend and well both do the best we can? I mean, is it OK to ask God for strength in preparation of a fight? I see alot of fighters do it, and I allways wanna know SO much what theyre actually praying like..this would help me soo much,so if anyone could, maybie a fighter,or somebody that knows,it would help me out, alot. Cause you cant seperate God from your training I think if youre with God youre with him allways..
so how is the relationship with God when it comes to fighting..?
Thanks alot

Im really happy I unloaded these 2 questions off of me. Hope I can get some cool answers. THANKS again!!

sorry about the thread name,it was going to be " 2 questions,if you could help me out " but i posted without looking. looks kind of stupid with just "2".lol. ANYWAY hehe. Hope youll help me out.thanks

How could we possibly conclude otherwise... would God, being very God, allow Himself to be punished for being God? That would be a silly notion for even a mere human I would think

hmm...I grew up in a house full of wanna-be-boxer boys lol...and man I wished I wasnt a gurl so I could beat em all up lol

It depends I think...when you see your opponent outside the ring...do you still want to crush him? If there is hate in your heart you got a problem...if its only the love of a sport...whats the problem?

the problem is, I dont know if its OK,to even defend yourself, scince youre loving to all..and ofcourse I dont feel hate for an opponent after a fight. I said that too, that Im not at all that type of guy. Its normal to feel like you want to beat your opponent, but is it OK for God,cause thats comparising thaughts, and whosb etter and whos worse thaughts. Thats not spiritual. And sometimes agression makes you go harder, but, agression is not what Gods about, right? Thats what Im wondering.Im new in this, and the problem is,that I dont know how to act in some situations.thanks. plus, doesnt seem like I have hatred in my heart when I feel bad about being agressive to somebody when Im actually a fighter ( I used to be ) and when you want to beat up wanna-be boxers out of nowhere.thanks though

I`d love to answer with 'thus saith the Lord' but in regards to sports the Lord (the scripture) does`nt say anything lol....:embarasse

GNB

Rom 14:4 Who are you to judge the servants of someone else? It is their own Master who will decide whether they succeed or fail. And they will succeed, because the Lord is able to make them succeed.
Rom 14:5 Some people think that a certain day is more important than other days, while others think that all days are the same. We each should firmly make up our own minds.
Rom 14:6 Those who think highly of a certain day do so in honor of the Lord; those who will eat anything do so in honor of the Lord, because they give thanks to God for the food. Those who refuse to eat certain things do so in honor of the Lord, and they give thanks to God.
Rom 14:7 We do not live for ourselves only, and we do not die for ourselves only.
Rom 14:8 If we live, it is for the Lord that we live, and if we die, it is for the Lord that we die. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.
Rom 14:9 For Christ died and rose to life in order to be the Lord of the living and of the dead.
Rom 14:10 You then, who eat only vegetables---why do you pass judgment on others? And you who eat anything---why do you despise other believers? All of us will stand before God to be judged by him.
Rom 14:11 For the scripture says, "As surely as I am the living God, says the Lord, everyone will kneel before me, and everyone will confess that I am God."
Rom 14:12 Every one of us, then, will have to give an account to God.
Rom 14:13 So then, let us stop judging one another. Instead, you should decide never to do anything that would make others stumble or fall into sin.
Rom 14:14 My union with the Lord Jesus makes me certain that no food is of itself ritually unclean; but if you believe that some food is unclean, then it becomes unclean for you.
Rom 14:15 If you hurt others because of something you eat, then you are no longer acting from love. Do not let the food that you eat ruin the person for whom Christ died!
Rom 14:16 Do not let what you regard as good get a bad name.
Rom 14:17 For God's Kingdom is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of the righteousness, peace, and joy which the Holy Spirit gives.
Rom 14:18 And when you serve Christ in this way, you please God and are approved by others.
Rom 14:19 So then, we must always aim at those things that bring peace and that help strengthen one another.
Rom 14:20 Do not, because of food, destroy what God has done. All foods may be eaten, but it is wrong to eat anything that will cause someone else to fall into sin.
Rom 14:21 The right thing to do is to keep from eating meat, drinking wine, or doing anything else that will make other believers fall.
Rom 14:22 Keep what you believe about this matter, then, between yourself and God. Happy are those who do not feel guilty when they do something they judge is right!
Rom 14:23 But if they have doubts about what they eat, God condemns them when they eat it, because their action is not based on faith. And anything that is not based on faith is sin.

Cause you cant seperate God from your training I think if youre with God youre with him allways..
so how is the relationship with God when it comes to fighting..?

Appropriate question ; ) >> Now ask yourself this: are you with God? or is He with you?

In other words... do you want your actions blessed by God? or do you want God's blessings in your actions?

Only you decide if He's with you. Only He decides if your with Him. Which are you willing to gamble with.
