LET THE NAME OF THE LORD BE PRAISED
Psalm 113:1-3
Praise the Lord.
Praise, O servants of the Lord,
Praise the name of the Lord.
Let the name of the Lord be praised,
Both now and forevermore.
From the rising of the sun
To the place where it sets,
The name of the Lord is to be praised.
This mornings devotion is a fitting tribute to the life that you and I enjoy today. A tribute to our faithful, loving and merciful God. All too often we allow the cares of this world to overtake our gratitude, at which point, the blessings of God become clouded and distant. Ever hear the saying, ‘out of sight out of mind’, that’s what happens when things get so hectic that we stop reflecting on the awesome inspiring greatness of our God and King.
We need to make ourselves take time to recount our Lord’s blessings everyday. If needed, make an actual list of all there is to be grateful for and stomp out those negative feelings satan is trying to chain us in. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus and all the promises He has left us, so we do not grow weary and lose heart and focus.

Rejoice in the Lord always, I’ll say it again rejoice.
The Lord is with us to turn on our heartlight,
Walk in faith and walk in victory
