OVERCOMING DISCOURAGEMENT
Show me Your Ways o Lord. Teach me Your paths; guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.
Remember not the sins of my youth and rebellious ways; according to Your love have mercy on me.
Good and upright is the Lord; He instructs sinners in His ways. He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them His way.
For those who honor the Lord He will instruct them in the way chosen for them. The Lord confides in those who honor Him; He makes His promises known to them.
So let us learn through our suffering (not implying this will ever be easy), knowing that sufferings produce perseverance, perseverance, character, and character, hope.
And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us.
Be strong and courageous. Do not be discouraged for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go!
