14 year old girl & open heart surgery

There is a 14 year old girl named Sophia who had open heart surgery on January 13th. This is her third open heart surgery and according the the doctors, the last one she would need. Her parent's are non-believers but have began to ask for prayer. Sophia has a collapsed lung and her breathing is bad. She never woke up from surgery and is non-reponsive to any treatment the doctors do. There is a team of medical doctors with her around the clock. She is a sweet girl who was brave before her surgery; she understood that it could kill her. Her family doesn't believe in Jesus but knows that my mother does, they have started to reach out for the help of the Savior. Please pray for Sophia's healing and the family.

May God give so much hope and faith to her family, and give Sophia the strength to fight this, through the power in Jesus, He'd heal her inside and out,so that He may be glorified in this little girl.

Lord bless this child Sophia and give her parents the miracle they need so that they can see You for Who You are- The Great Physician so that they may come to You and learn to know You.
Lord i ask that Sophia be healed in Your name. Surround her and her family with Your wonderful calm and peace Lord. In Jesus Name I pray.

Update on Sophia

I just received a phone call that she is awake, sitting up in bed and eating Jell-O...God is so good. Her mother can't call from the hospital rooms and I think she is very busy with her daughter so that’s all I have now. The healing process is starting and God is faithful.

They had to change the heart valves and this was her last surgery; if everything goes right she won't need it again. The last time she had surgery they couldn't close her rib cage because every time they did her heart would stop working.


Thanks everyone who was in prayer, her family still desperately needs the Lord and I am going to continue to pray over her and her family. You guys are so awesome, it is a comfort to know that you can list a request and beautiful people respond.

Thats great nesw IsbahIshbah!! Thank You Jesus for hearing our prayers and starting the healing process in this child! I will pray for her family to come to know the Lord as well and continue to pray for Sophia and and the family to have peace and comfort and feel the arms of the Lord around them.
