13 The church that is at Babylon, elected together with you, saluteth you; and so doth Marcus my son.
14 Greet ye one another with a kiss of charity. Peace be with you all that are in Christ Jesus. Amen.
New European Version
13 She that is in Babylon, elect together with you, greets you, and so does Marcus my son.
14 Greet each other with a kiss of love. Peace be to you all that are in Christ.

13 Mark was trained by Peter after having left Paul. Markmay have very well written from Peter point of view. Mark may not been the trueson of Peter but a son as Paul refers to Timothy as his son.

14 This was a common greeting of friendship today’s time itwould be a hug. Handshakes are common but often times do not show love. HavingChrist brings us peace that is without words.
